I really love this place. I try to come here when I come to OBX. Their food is awesome always on point. This time I tried something that I really didn’t want to try and boy was it delicious. The waiter was on point. He seemed to be having a hard time from the next table though. They were just so unsatisfiable it seemed. He kept our drinks filled and brought extra napkins without even being asked. He was awesome. The atmosphere is so great too. Oh and a tropical storm was going on outside too, but no one cared. Love it!!

I am so so glad I read a review about this place, so I had to write one, too! We liked it so much during our weekend stay that we visited twice! Great food, great drinks, and just an all-around fun place to be at the beach! Go see for yourself!

As expected of a coastal town, the fish was delicious. The clam chowder is great, and the crab dip was great. The Brazilian Steak was phenomenal.

Went for dinner with my fiance during our first trip to the Outer Banks. Barefoot Bernie’s has a super fun tropical vibe inside, and the restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. Great service from the staff all around, especially our server Chase. The food was spectacular! Definitely try the baked seafood trio or seafood gumbo. Recommend stopping here for dinner and drinks if you’re in OBX.

We have passed this place for years, and we kept saying our next day trip we’d popped in!! We finally did and were very pleased with the food service and atmosphere I had a salad, the hubby had the Mac & Cheese, and it was delicious. Then we split the best Philly Cheesesteak since our high scho year’s. Thanks and so sorry we waited so looooong to give it a try.

Food was disappointingly mid. The seafood pizza was supposed to be Cajun and basically tasted like greasy cheesy bread with almost no flavor. The seared tuna was pretty decent, but not good enough to go back for. The bartenders energy and positivity pretty much saved our experience there. That, and the frozen Pina Colada was really really good!

Great restaurant, went on a crowded night but got drinks at bar and brought outside while waiting. Delicious food, great server, clean bathrooms restaurant a little dark.
