DINERS BEWARE: just want to bring this to people attention when we got our bill we found out we got charge a 3% employee benefit fee on our bill in addition to $2 per person water fee. For this 2 reasons alone I would not return to this restaurant. They should of already factor those into the price of the dishes not to added as an added charge to the customer. And if they were to do that they should have a notice on the door not for you to find out when the bill comes. This place is overpriced and overrated.

Bardea is a force to be reckoned with. Between the steak house, food and drink bar (separate) and the new Italian house they are opening, I’m excited for what they are doing in Wilmington, DE. Went to Food and Drink and man, impressive. I will say, come expecting small portions, but delicious and amazing. Eat slow as we should and you you will be pleasantly full at the end. Enjoy a few different dishes and amazing culinary skills.

If there was only one place to go to during your stay, it would be here. You will have a fantastic time surrounded by lively chatter. Always fully packed so prepare to grab a drink by the bar while you wait to get seated. Decor has a lovely old-world charm with lots of character. Food is meant for sharing so order a ton of dishes to try. My fav was the charred octopus and the raw dishes, but really everything was great and service was fantastic. Great place to bring a date or celebrate a special occasion.
