Celebrated my son’s 27th birthday, and let’s just say we had a great time! Reservation for 4 ppl at 6 pm on a Saturday, hostess was nice, and we sat us right away. Decor is relaxing and a positive vibe. Drinks were good but the food was excellent! We ordered the Black Rice (spicy), Bife, Mustard Chicken, and Roasted Cauliflower. All shared family style. The service was good, I will be back! Perfect place for date night!

We went for dessert but ended up with the bone marrow and beef tartar too! Everything was incredible. My husband liked the burnt Alaska, but I didn’t love the burnt element of it. Too much for me, however the inside was still delicious and it was cool to watch.

Barda exceeded our culinary expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The beets, cauliflower and ceviche were by far our favorite dishes. Great drink selection and our server was awesome!

I’ve come to Barda several times and it’s always delivered delicious food that is eye-catching and prepared creatively. It’s definitely good having Latin food presence in Detroit. The staff is one of the most attentive I’ve had in the city. The vibe of the place is very cool; as you enter you get to see the place in its entirety, blue and red by design, with the bar at the center stage, surrounded by ample seating left and right. At the very back you can take a look at where all the cooking action happens. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special experience; solo, with your partner, or a group.

It’s been a while BARDA. Reservations are advised. We met friends at BARDA on a night predicted to have heavy rain/ snow around 5 pm. By 6 the place was filling up with customers. That for me was a true sign they are maintaining their high standards.

Overall, very impressed by the quality of food! This restaurant surpasses its former tenant magnet by miles! Highly recommend the Porter house, the beets and the scallop ceviche! I would forgo ordering all of their cocktails. They leave a lot to be desired! Save your money and go down the street to Kiesling for a proper crafted cocktail.

The staff was amazing and very helpful with reviewing the menu options. I was weary about trying the beets but they were amazing!! I would definitely recommend trying those. Honestly everything I tried (beets, cauliflower, trout and scallop ceviche) was delicious and I’ll definitely go back again to try more.

The house cocktails are okay but they make a mean Sazarac.
