I place an $80 order for delivery this evening. The Augusta location is 1.3 miles from my house, so the order fulfillment time was going to be fairly quick. I waited around 45 mins, and then got a call from the delivery service. My order had been cancelled, not by the delivery service but by the restaurant. They weren’t able to fulfill it. I understand that this happens, but why did they not know they couldn’t complete this after receiving my order? They didn’t know this until the delivery guy had been sitting there for 15 mins? I don’t have an issue with the restaurant not being able to complete the order, I have an issue with the restaurant taking 45 mins to determine this when I could have gone ahead and place an order with another company.
