In a town where tourists reign supreme, lack of service is expected, but actively working to be worse in that environment is the way things are now. Short version is we were moving our kid, made an order online it was confirmed we headed over to get our food. We got there and there was a handwritten note on the door saying closed early. Three employees were inside and refused to acknowledge our presence even when we knocked on the glass. So I decided to send a complaint to the company. This is the only correspondence I received:

It was very good. Burrito Bowls are usually one of the most abused menu items in the restaurant industry. Barberitos had many choice that were varied and fresh tasting. Rice and beans too salty though. I seriously stopped because the road sign said healthy!!!!

Better than Chipotle. And they include chips with your meal. The employees are very nice and approachable. We went in close to closing and they were up beat the whole time. That is not how mist restaurant employees act when it is close to closing. I was never nice like that right at closing when I worked in a deli.

We came in at 6, they were out of steak and black beans. The lettuce on my burrito was wilted and there was hardly any sauce out. You shouldn’t have to pay 10 dollars for a small burrito. This place is just really cheap.

Really disappointed. Went to barberitos quite a bit. They were out of queso. They were out of both black and brown beans. They’re out of the dips across from the counter. Really disappointing. I wonder what has happened to them. Maybe a new manager but I think I’m going to have to try some other place for Mexican. Hope it gets better. I hate giving a review like this but I can’t really go there till it gets better again

Absolutely filthy. Shockingly and visibly dirty. The line, the sneeze guard, the drink station, the seating. It was bad. I understand things get bad quickly in a busy restaurant but this was very clearly neglect.
