We just moved to the area and we’re hankering for some good BBQ. Wow! We were not disappointed. Ribs were so flavorful we didn’t need sauce and the collards and cornbread were spot on. Will be back

Food was good. First time there and was treated as if I was a regular. Collards and the fried fish were perfected. The sweet tea was good, I felt the pink lemonade was a tad too sweet but you’re expected to become a diabetic with high cholesterol when you eat in the south. Will return when in the area.

Staying in the area and wanted some real bbq for a birthday dinner. So after a good bit of research, we landed in this place based on the reviews. Didn’t look fancy & the food reviews sounded great. We’ve ate a lot of bbq and we’re looking forward to it. Unfortunately…we arrived around 5:30pm and didn’t realize they might run out of meats so soon into the dinner time. So they had a full rack of ribs left, which we took. Also tried out the fried okra, baked beans, and collards. We missed out on the mac n cheese which I definitely wanted to try & will get next time. We also got a pork chop dinner in case the ribs weren’t enough for both of us (but we ended up taking them home – they looked delicious). The waitress and the owner were super helpful and friendly as it was our first time there. Our food came out quickly and was hot. Have to say – we LOVED the ribs. I usually prefer baby back ribs – but these were amazing. Meaty, tender and their bbq sauce is SPOT ON. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Probably some of the best ribs and sauce we’ve tried -even after traveling thru Texas. We didn’t try the other sauce option – mustard based. The sides were all super yummy – but the collards – oh my – the BEST we’ve had we both agreed. We ordered some extra to take home. Dining area was tidy & comfy chairs. We will definitely be back – a bit earlier next time so we can try some other options before they sell out. GET THERE EARLY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Food was the best BBQ I have had in years. The smoked chicken will melt in your mouth. Ribs were truly cooked perfect. We had the Trio plate with baked beans, collard greens, Mac and cheese, absolutely delicious. Looking forward to trying the fried catfish next week. Highly recommend for the best BBQ in this area.

If you are traveling through Dothan AL this is a must! Stop and eat there, food was delicious, staff was so friendly! Sweet Tea was on POINT! Definitely will be a regular stop to and from the beach!

1st let me say that I used to own a BBQ restaurant and try to visit practically any BBQ that I can find. I consider myself an amateur BBQ expert. If you love BBQ, then stop here. I stop every chance I get when I visit LA. The pulled pork was excellent: a perfect amount of “Bark”, not to heavy, but enough for flavor. The pork was tasty, and not greasy. The cole slaw was a real winner! Unique taste, not too runny or creamy. Slight hint of vinegar, but you have to look for it. The fried okra was fried okra – very good. I had a taste of a pork rib and will definitely order some more. Portions are ample. You will not leave hungry. 5 Stars! Visit and tell them Frank from Atlanta sent you.

Let me just start by saying from the first time I tried these ribs on bone, collards, mac n cheese, okra, its amazing. The meat falls off the bone, no need for sauce even!
