Sat here for nearly 3 hours waiting for our flight. We sat at the bar. Waitstaff was outstanding. Our first server , Khadijah, and our second server, Michelle, were both attentive and friendly. (names are retrieved from the receipt) Food was good and drinks were plenty. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. Derrick did a great job bartending. Kitchen staff pushed food out at a timely pace. Only thing I will note, a women with glasses (not sure if she was a manager or server) was berating the kitchen staff the whole time, within earshot of guests. I work in a restaurant, so I know what fun banter looks like; this was not that. And btw, George Washington, not Lincoln, was credited with saying “I cannot tell a lie” (although, later found to be a lie by his biographer). To say “that’s why you’re in the kitchen” when you thought they were incorrect, whether they were or weren’t, is disrespectful to their craft (the line is not an easy task, nor without wit and knowledge); but the fact that were right anyway was just icing on the cake.

We had a long layover and decided to eat here. Food really hit the spot. Service was slow, but they only had one server/bartender on the floor.

Ordered bacon cheeseburger medium and a salad with Caesar dressing( since they don’t have ranch or thousand island). Salad arrived with enough dressing for at least three salads. Burger was well done and the bacon was almost raw.

My girlfriend and I we decided to stop at bar symon to drink and eat there since our gate was right close by we got there around 4:00pm ,the bartender was awesome, the bar looks nice and the basketball game was on that was a plus ,everything strat great till our fries took 45min we heard the bartender went to the cook and ask for the fries after 10 min pass by then we hared the cook saying on reply he is not going to make the fries it was an open kitchen you can see and hear everything… at the first we thought he was joking then second time the bartender went back and ask again no fries yet and no Manger around at that time after 35min of waiting the fries come out and it was undercooked at this point we don’t want it anymore ,Me and my girlfriend shared the fries that come with my burger .you should definitely fire your cook his horrible and he can not do this to the guests and we never gonna come back here again ( was a bad experience to hear him saying he is not going to make the fries really what wrong with him ) only 2 starts rating because of the bartender he was nice and he apologize also offer to take undercooked fires from our bill. simple thing could be avoid if you have a Manger and a cook who suppose to do the job hope the owener get to see this review

The breakfast was ok. What saved the omelet was to interesting sauce and arugula. No choice of toast or omelet ingredients. Not stellar but hit the spot for me.

Not quite what I expected. On the positive side, the Victory Brewing Golden Monkey beer was really, really good. On the negative side the service was more than a bit slow and definitely unattentive. I had to flag down the bartender 3 different times to get my order placed and ask for additional dressing, and they were less than 50% full. I ordered the Big Blue salad, which took 15 min (really?, for a salad in an airport?). The salad sounded good but was THE BLANDEST blue cheese salad I ever had, even after I requested more blue cheese crumbles and extra dressing on the side (which they forgot on my original order). The blue cheese tasted more like cottage cheese than blue cheese. Again, not what I expected considering Chef Symon’s reputation. The bartender never checked back to see how the food was or if I wanted another beer. I also heard the kitchen just call out that there was no more bacon, really? I’d say skip this place and find somewhere else.

Staff was inattentive and rude. Food was mediocre. There are better places to eat in the Philly airport and likely this place is only open because it’s next to a grip of gates.

I’m from Cleveland and had hopes that this would be something better than airport food but it really didn’t live up to my expectations. The Fat Doug burger was listed to have pastrami, Cole slaw, mustard and maybe something else on it. There was hardly any cole slaw, the tiny amount of pastrami couldn’t be detected when eating and I don’t think the kitchen put mustard on it. The rosemary fries are simple fries with a little rosemary sprinkled on them; they’re fine but a little overhyped on other reviews.

Eater magazine had this place listed as one of best places to eat at the airport. That’s the last time I take advice from that source. The only redeeming quality here was the service. The food was awful. How do you screw up a salad? And the sheer nerve to charge $6 for a cold rubbery burger patty. Prices are exorbitant. Just stay away.
