After nine months deployed I needed some good bbq. This place did not disappoint. Brisket, spareribs, and link were perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. Side bbq was absolutely delicious. Mac and cheese exactly how I like it. Slaw was great. Also got the lemonade which was refreshing and not too sweet.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The sides were amazing, I would come back only for the sides. However, the barbecue left much to be desired. The pork belly was tough and dry, some of the brisket was dry, and some not, and the rib was moist on one side and dry on the other. The seasoning wasn’t bad, but definitely needed the sauce to carry it. I’m glad I ordered the sides, because the meat was not enough to fill me, but that because I couldn’t order alot due to the high cost per pound. Total price was $38, so for that price point, I should have gone elsewhere and gotten more. I know that the costs of labor and product have gone up, but these are tourist prices for being on the beach. There are plenty of great barbecue spots in the area where the prices are fair.

I visited this place because of a review. I read negative reviews about the prices and was reluctant however when I arrived I was overly impressed. The guy at the smoke pit offered me his parking spot. The guys inside help me understand the menu. I paid about $75 and had food for 2 days for 3 people. The taste was excellent. And I was not paid to do this review either. I don’t know these people from a pot of paint but I’ll be going back and I’ll know them then lol

Located inside the Bolder Mariner brewery, this BBQ joint is pumping out great food. The brisket had a nice smoke ring, bark and was moist throughout. The pulled pork was tender and tasty. The best thing was someone in our party had a food allergy and couldn’t eat one of the sides, the staff without hesitation offered another side. Talk about great service!
