Fantastic experience! The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. We stopped in for a few drinks and apps and was blown away! They were able to make some cocktails into mocktails for me and they were absolutely amazing! Seared scallops were done perfectly and the seafood bisque was creamy with chunks of seafood and filled with flavor. Prices are very affordable. Cannot wait to return!

Excellent cocktails, atmosphere, and food! This is just the type of place Mt. Airy needed! I had the Lucie cocktail, which was excellent! Every dish we ordered was excellent, and I ate the best beignets I’ve ever had in my life…and yes, I’ve been to New Orleans. These were way better! Get the cinnamon-nutmeg butter! Amazing. We’ll be back.

I totally enjoyed my meal at Bar Lizette. The French onion soup was especially tasty with the gruyere cheese topping. The ribeye was magnificent and the Bordelaise sauce superb. The mashed potatoes and green beans were a good side and extremely well prepared. But the piece de resistance was the creme brulee with the top flambeed to a crispy perfection. Who thought an Alsation-themed restaurant would be so good. Also the staff were extremely friendly and looked after me to a fault. Kudos!!

Excellent asset to the neighborhood. We’ve yet to try the food but the service, atmosphere and drinks have all been excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable given all these factors. Looking forward to many more evenings spent among friendly staff, strong drinks and low key yet elegant surroundings.

My boyfriend and I went here the other night for dinner and it was great! I love that there’s vegan options without needing to modify anything, although I wish there were more options than just two main dishes. The staff was super friendly.

Looking for a new place to eat near Chestnut Hill & discovered this place. Great drinks. Very nice bartender(2 stars are for him & the other for location). Cold food paired with extremely slow kitchen service. We may do happy hour, but I’ll avoid eating here again. So excited then awfully disappointed

UPDATE: Still great! *My wife and I have been in a few times and are so happy to have another option so close to home! Their staff is friendly and professional, the cocktails are amazing, and the atmosphere is upscale but not pretentious. We will be going back regularly.
