This is a must stop if you are a mixology fan but at the same time EAT HERE! I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. Atmosphere is perfectly matched to the “theme” they are going for. Bartenders knew their stuff and were extremely friendly. The Shrimp toast was a personal favorite for me as it was not what I was expecting at all and that is what I want from a restaurant. All of their cocktails we tried were spectacular! This is now on our permanent stop list! Keep up the good work and if you haven’t been here I would highly suggest stopping in, even if just for a cocktail.

My husband and I just enjoyed a FABULOUS lunch at Bar Hana. We sat at the bar and were served by Gy. My mojito was so good I ordered a second! Food was fresh, bursting with flavour. Gy gave us excellent recommendations and had good chat. Will definitely be back!

Awesome experience! We sat at the bar and tried several drinks which were all AMAZING. I always appreciate an excellent drink program and you guys hit the spot! The bartender was a true mixologist. We had the nachos and the burger and both were amazingly fresh and delish. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. We will be regulars! Great job all around Bar Hanna!

This place is a great addition to downtown Sarasota! The vibe is tropical and chill while also dark and moody. The drinks were delicious and creative. They come in fun glasses! The cold sesame noodles were also delicious. We will definitely be back- such a fun spot!

*the photos don’t do justice, my phone quality isn’t the best for photos*. Being from the Big Island in Hawaii and wanting to find some restaurants that would fit our taste, we tried Bar Hana for the first time this afternoon and we will absolutely be back with more family and friends. Tom was our server this afternoon and the service he provided was 5 star! The atmosphere reminded us of an upscale rainforest cafe vibe but more relaxed and modern. There’s a bar, dining room, and lounge. The adult beverages were good and fun! My drink came in a flamingo cup and tasted amazing. My mom and I got the peking duck bao and oh my, we will be back just for those! Some of the best bao I’ve had in Sarasota. My mom loved her sesame noodles (huge portion!) And I LOVED my sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken sandwich. I’m not lying when I say the portions are big. There’s more items to try next time we go and can’t wait to see what their dinner vibe is like. Didn’t get to try their mochi ice cream so that might be next on our list.

The staff is fantastic. Sebastian, the bartender, is a master of his craft! We initially were going to have drinks since we ate at Kona earlier (which is also 5-stars worthy) but decided to splurge on a late night bite and ordered the garlic noodles. There is not a rating for how amazing they were. We are local to Sarasota and will definitely be regulars!

Cute tropical bar and restaurant located downtown Sarasota. Large selection of rum and tequila and mixed cocktail drinks. The food is good, cooked in the same kitchen as Kojo restaurant. A nice addition to downtown Sarasota!
