Pretty good food, with fast service. However I think the dining space could be upgraded. The tables are a little wobbly and there aren’t too many spaces to sit. But if you have small group, and need a quick meal for cheap, I do recommend.

Nice spot for a quick meal or a snack. The Berkshire pork bun tasted authentic. The shumai has the right flavor but was a little dry. Would be curious to try out a few more dishes next time.

A friend and I ordered for take out 2 different handmade bao buns (Premium Berkshire Pork Buns and Chicken and Mushroom Buns) and Lotus Chicken Dim Sum. The order was ready quickly and was packaged well to keep the items warm and moist. The food smelled and tasted authentic and reminded me of the dim sum and bao served in Hawaii. We will be back in the future to try other items on the menu. This is a great find in the center of Ann Arbor.

For all the different kinds of food we can get in the area, dim sum and Bao is something that was sorely missing, and we are happy that this restaurant opened!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner and Bao Space did not disappoint! Excellent, fast service and extraordinary food. The bao is every bit as good as anything I’ve had in China and Chinatown, NYC. A total gem! Bao Space is woman(and mom!)-owned, too! Our family will be making Bao a part of our regular restaurant rotation.

The moment I walked in and saw a small asian child running around the kitchen I knew this place would slap—and slap it did. The food is affordable and the baos, soups, and dim sums are all gaseous. I recommend the Berkshire Pork Buns and the Shrimp Triple Delight Buns to start.

Filling was great and moist, bao was nice and fluffy. I got the beef and radish soup and it had a great flavor too it and the radish was mild but good.

Really good baos, would 100% come back again. The ones with pork and ones with beef are personal favourites; the first bite sent me straight back to my childhood home, the land of baos and milk tea. The meat to “wrapping” (包子皮) ratio was really good, unlike some other local places where there’s barely any filling. The baos were very fresh (which would explain the longer wait time of 20-30 minutes).

Very good bao buns, maybe more traditional than some bao places around here. Inside space is pretty cramped for dining in during busy times, but I’m sure the food would be great as takeout! Reasonable prices, and very kind and accommodating staff. Definitely a great option for bao!

Shumais are authentic and tastes great. Baos are overall greasy, tastes okay. The Bao skin all smell like cardboard, because of the disposable boxes they use, which is unacceptable. Overall, the food is overpriced for its quality.
