I wish there were more than 5 stars available. We stumbled upon this gem 2 weeks ago and we were starved so we went in. It was jam packed and we decided to get our food to go. It was an hour wait and 150% worth every second of it. We had brisket and 1/2 ribs and the stuffed baked potato and they were amazing.

I highly recommend this place. They have some of the best pulled pork in Dayton. They have great customer service and the atmosphere is very welcoming. If I could suggest some food to try it would be the pulled pork potato and wings with traditional sauce. I always try to get some food from them once a month and it’s always great!

Very slow service, but they were training and seemed to be short staffed. Unfortunately, 5 tables were served with food before us, and they had come in well after we did. The owner was very friendly and was working hard to meet the customers the best he could. Ribs were a little tough, pulled pork was good.

The food is made with love and the service is beyond service. We were one of two families in for a late lunch as we were driving though. They treated us like family and the food was delicious. Kind, comforting and delicious. Totally unassuming from the outside, total delight inside.

New to the Dayton, TN area. Had a hard time finding a good place to eat. Found Banjo’s and this is now my favorite place to eat by far. Everything is delicious, fresh, tender, seasoned and made with love. The owner David, his daughter Ashley and family run an outstanding place to eat. The wings are fall off the bone tender, the brisket is seasoned through and through, the ribs are meaty and delicious. The baked beans, cabbage, peach cobbler and everything I’ve tasted so far is fantastic. Icing on the cake….beer is nice and cold. If you like BBQ this is the place to have it. Don’t miss out.

The Truth
Never been here before. Wasn’t super hungry but wanted BBQ. I figured if their large BBQ sandwich wasn’t that great then the rest of the food wouldn’t be either so that’s what I got. I really like Mission BBQ and Rib & Loin. I’ll have to say though, Banjos beats them both. I ate it on my way back to Cleveland and almost turned around and went back to get another one lol…..I will definitely be back.

I love this place 1st time here the service was top notch the food was amazing. I couldn’t rate this place high enough the owner came out and talk to us was great. Over all price is good compared to the taste of the food if your looking for a great hole in the wall gem it’s here give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
