Banh Mi Kim Lan is a small Vietnamese sandwich place, they offer 10 different options of Banh Mi’s and some other snacks. We tried the #1 Banh Mi, the pork steamed buns and the egg rolls. The Banh Mi was tasty, it’s one of the better Banh Mi places in the area.

Hidden gem close to Dulles Airport. I came here with my two sons, ages 9 and 2.5, after a visit to the close-by Udvar-Hazy Air&Space Museum. The location is tucked into the middle of a little shopping center. The shop is clean and minimally decorated. We ordered two banh mi (minced chicken and pork), as well as the honeydew flavor green tea with boba and the sugarcane juice.

Wow. I’ve never had Banh Mi be this good before. I got a #1, a #10, black tea/house milk tea boba, and their rice/pinto/coconut cream dessert and it’s all incredible. Great summer meal.

My new goto place for best value! No long drive to Falls Church. Bánh mì is judged on 1) the baguette and 2) the filling. The bread here has a balance of crunchy shell and soft interior. There is a lot of meat. The best part is the freshness of the thick layer of pâte ❤️. Recommend combination/special.

Good alternative when I don’t want to drive 30-45 minutes to Banh Mi DC or Eden center. I always get friendly & prompt service. The lady at the counter is always nice and chatty to me, but she can be quite forgetful of what I’d just ordered, so I make sure to double check my order before leaving. They have a variety of stuffings, with their Kim Lan sandwich being the most expensive Price is about $7-$8+ for 1 banh mi, and there’s no ‘buy 5 get 1 free’ offer like some other places. Best to eat them fresh or toast them the next day at latest. Their egg rolls, fresh rolls, and desserts are also quite tasty.

Small lunch spot, very limited seating. Food was just ok … Pretty big piece of a bread loaf with not much in it. Spring rolls tasted like all cilantro … My search for the best Bahn Mi continues.
