It is so disappointing. This restaurant used to be amazing when Jessie owned it. We used to eat there a few times a month. She prided herself on quality. Ever since these new owners have take over the prices have increased and the food is sub par. The miso soup was tasteless. The cooked chicken meals were not well seasoned and Sushi should be fresh tasting and smooth. Even the basic rolls taste too fishy. I see what there are so many that are fried now.

The restaurant was nearly empty during our mid-week lunch. We started with a comforting, floral-sweet Jasmine tea and a barely warm, average miso soup. The main course of sushi was okay but the rice, jalapeño, ginger, and wasabi were a let a down as it wasn’t fresh–probably because of the slow pace of the place. Though with that I couldn’t understand why the chicken in our chicken/rice dish wasn’t hot barely at all. Bangkok was disappointing and we probably won’t try it again unless we start hearing differently about the restaurant. Oct 2021

We went here because it’s really close to our house and we were looking for something convenient. What a pleasant surprise! First off, the atmosphere puts you in mind of Thailand. We loved it. Then the food was great! We had the hot and sweet wings which weren’t too spicy but tasty. Then for dinner my husband and I both tried the curry which was very delicious. Can’t wait to try the sushi next time!

ordered express door dash and I could tell some of the sashimi pieces were definitely not fresh. Doordash is not cheap and to get a ‘generous’ larger piece of tuna than you would normally expect you can tell something is up when you put it in your mouth and its already darkened beyond what you would normally serve i had to spit it out because it was decomposed and not fresh. red snapper was decent as well as the salmon, the octopus though I would not recommend very sketchy and had to spit it out. I get they have to save costs but sunrise Asian in the same area has been much better for raw and fresh. the soup was also cold on express delivery and my wife did not like her sushi rolls as they contained ingredients not on the menu when ordering. overall very disappointing as we are new parents and can’t go out. wont be reordering from here.

Had the Chicken Katsu, but it was missing the chicken. Nothing but thin (very thin) and dry chicken strips. Chicken used to be in there the other times I’ve had the dinner plate. The signature sushi rolls were descent though.

The food was not good. It was just me and my kids and definitely not happy with the service. The guy that was helping us wasn’t very nice or attentive (no refills and he never asked if needed anything else). You’re not able to make any changes to the kids menu. You have to buy everything separately if you want something different which makes it very hard (and expensive) (my son wanted noodles instead of the white rice it came with it and the guy said I needed to buy a whole side of noodle for 8 dollars same price as the kid menu lol) because kids can be picky. I order sushi and also it’s not good. They gave me a highchair for my baby and the highchair buckle didn’t even work. This was my first time here, but overall not a good experience I will not come back here
