I’m always looking for fresh, new restaurants in the area and came across this one on a weeknight…. The big sign on the outside still shows “Lin’s Gourmet” which was the local carry-out Chinese joint for many years and clearly they sold and it’s become a Thai restaurant. The staff inside told me this happened a few months ago. Seems that until they change the sign outside, they have posters hanging in the windows with the new name, “Bangkok Cuisine.”

The place is very clean and bright, with Thai music playing on the sound system. Very small dining area, four tables. Per the owner’s recommendation, I got the Pad Ped Peh…fresh eggplant, onion, basil, chicken, bell pepper, bamboo shoots, fresh pepper corn pods in a spicy sauce. It was delicious, and the vegetables were obviously very fresh. Large portions and reasonably priced. I asked for #4 level of spiciness…super hot, so be careful! Highly recommended!

I was pretty sad when Lin’s Gourmet (Chinese) went out of business. I’m so happy Bangkok Cuisine took its place. I’m a little embarrassed to admit the food is so good I went two days in a row and then the next week. My go-to to test a Thai spot is Pad Kra Pow and theirs is my hands down favorite of any I’ve tried. The lunch specials are an absolute steal! $9.95 for a dish, rice, and two spring rolls. I’m happy to say I will be a regular.

I was really pleased to see that a new Thai restaurant had opened up and my family and I decided to try it today. I often go to Fredericksburg for Thai food and I welcomed the possibility of having a delicious place to go to nearby. But like most Stafford restaurants, this one is adequate but not as good as the restaurants further away. To be fair, the restaurant was understaffed today and the gentleman seemed a bit flustered. He was polite but I think that what hurts Stafford businesses the most is that they have no customer service skills. If someone waits 35-40 minutes for their carryout order, maybe give them something free like a dessert as a way to say thank you for your patience. Or make the customer feel really welcomed, especially when the business is new and its the customers first time at your establishment. Little things go a long way and Stafford businesses tend to lack personality and professionalism in general.

Best Thai restaurant in town! The prices are great, the portions are decent and the flavor is authentic. We’ve been looking for a new Thai restaurant in the area that actually serves consistent flavors across all the noodle and soup dishes, and we’re so glad to have found Bangkok Cuisine. The staff is always friendly and polite which makes the food taste even better. If they had a rewards program, we’d be there VIP customers!

Seriously good Thai food. Easily the best in all of Stafford and Fredericksburg. And yes, I have tried all of the other ones. The family is so sweet. The food is so good. The service is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things. I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give.

Just returned from having dinner with my ddter and had to post. We happened upon Bangkok Cuisine because of positive Yelp alert! And now can say the Google reviews matched the fantastic experience. Cant wait to return/place an order! We ordered: papaya salad, chicken basil rice, and a chicken thai curry! The food was very tasty and flavorful as one would expect Thai food to be. The large portions were more than we could eat and they gladly boxed the food to go! The restaurant is small (3 tables) so it’s more of an order-to-go or order-pick up. Order your lunch/dinner from Bangkok Cuisine today!
