I’ve been visiting Bang Bang since moving to a nearby apartment complex over a year ago. I ate mostly plant based and was excited for the plethora of veg friendly options including the vegan Mac n cheese!

Bang Bang Kitchen is a nice little restaurant located really close to the light rail. There’s a laid back vibe with a party type atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and made me feel like a valued customer even-though they were short staffed. I tried the stuffed Sopapillas and my friend had the sweet Sopapillas, the drinks we tried were tasty and strong but I was underwhelmed by the food, wasn’t very flavorful. I’m willing to go back and try other food items.

I love love love New Mexican food. This is most likely the best New Mexican food in Washington State. The ABQ burger is really good, ask them to add extra Red Chili if you want it closer to NM. Also get the fries but make them Green Chili fries (no Queso) for the true NM experience. Lastly the brisket in red chili is legit greatness. Drinks were great including the Shrubs. Lucky to have this restaurant in Seattle.

The smothered and covered potatoes are a game changer. The quiche had a potato crust that was really good. The breakfast torta was very hearty and good. My favorite was the mocktails, specifically the pear-rosemary shrub.

Try the green bloody Mary.

Eat here! This spot is so cozy, delicious, easy, clean, relaxing. The food is YUM and the people are so friendly. Easy to get accommodations for keto, which annoys some servers. They were very kind about my grumpy child. Vegan options, close to a great park. Try the queso!

Bang Bang Kitchen was able to handle our hungry group of 10 during Sunday dinner. The wait was a little long (but understandable because it was a large group) and it was worth it.

We grabbed a quick bite before an event at the Museum of Flight. The food was good, tasty Margaritas and service was super fast. One of the only restaurants I’ve been to that serve hard shell tacos.

We live close by and anyone who lives in the area knows there aren’t many high quality take out options and sit in places with great ambiance. I love ordering take out at Bang Bang because someone always answers the phone and I don’t have to use an app. They are also really fast. I’m bummed though. The food is really expensive and chef puts their green / red Christmas sauce on everything. I know this is a New Mexico custom. I find the red sauce actually tastes really bad and gives me a horrible stomach ache. It’s like intestinal inflammation almost. If you get the sauce on the side, the food is so basic with little depth. I’m left questioning why I spent $20 on a burrito. Arg.

We tend to go for their fantastic happy hour but anytime is a great time to go. We’ve tried a significant portion of the menu at this point and every dish has been really wonderful. The servers are kind and easy spirited. The interior space is lovely. The prices are quite reasonable. Bang Bang has become our #1 go-to when we decide to head out for a bite.
