Been going for a while and the service is always friendly! A good place to order family style and share with your party. Always recommend the sizzling bean curd! It’s egg tofu in a crispy skin and can come with vegetables or meat toppings.

Ordered take-out and found the food to be decent at best. This Malaysian restaurant used to be a standout in the area, but it seems the taste and food quality have declined since my last visit.

We ordered chicken rice, curry Laksa with seafood and char koay teow and overall food is decent. The chicken rice could have been made silky.

Great prices and amazing portions! First of all, the waiters were very friendly and prompt. Came on a Friday night and service was fast. The food was absolutely delicious—Biggest recommendations as for appetizers: The chicken satay is sweet and savory. Roti was flaky and absolutely delicious. Veggie samosa was so good! Definitely going to come back again to try the other dishes on the very extensive menu.

Normally when I go to Houston I’m going to eat Chinese or Vietnamese food. This time I took a chance and went to banana leaf which actually I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The roti was really flaky and soft and the calamari was not too chewy and not too salty. We had the beef with wide noodles and it had a very good charred taste to it. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Got the satay, roti canai, baby oyster omelette, nasi lemak, stir fried flat noodle, Penang Assam laksa, and Thai fried rice. I thought everything had a lot of flavor. The satay chicken was just a little sweet and went well with the creamy peanut sauce. the nasi lemak was delicious. The roti canai was a little disappointing as the “curry” just seemed like a weak watery brown soup. It’s clear that no chicken has ever touched that curry. The overall combination with the paratha was not that bad though. The omelette dish was Omelette on top of oysters on top of a bed of lettuce. Individually, the omelette was good, but the oysters weren’t that great. However, once you made a wrap of lettuce, omelette, and oysters and dipped it in the sauce, the flavors were incredible. The flat noodle was also delicious. My sister wasn’t that fond of the Thai rice, but I thought it was fine. The laksa was an enormous dish. I haven’t had Assam laksa and while the pineapple was good, I think I prefer the traditional coconut based one! Overall lots of flavor and a great place to have a tasty family style meal!

Only been a couple times but the food was very good, consistent, and prepared quickly. Small interior and parking can be difficult.
