Delicious food! Good prices (they’re all about $2 higher than the pics of the menu posted here a year ago). Great service – very friendly and attentive; they kept refilling our waters after we overestimated our spice tolerance and ordered a dish that was too spicy for us (and we have a pretty high spice tolerance so they’re keeping it real)! Very cute interior.

We went to Ban Bamboo for dinner and had a mediocre experience. We had the fried tofu appetizer, which was the standard, flavorless frozen tofu triangles. Would not get again. For my main, I had green curry, which was the consistency of soup. I have never had a curry that was so thin. My photo doesn’t do it justice… I wish I had taken a video. The flavor was pretty good but it was hard to enjoy after dumping rice in to try to get it to a consistency that I could eat. My husband had the spicy noodles, which I tried, and they had a nice flavor.

So happy to find a great place for Pad Thai. Generous portion and pretty spicy! The crab rangoons were definitely homemade and you can tell. Ordered pickup on a weekend night and it was ready within 25 minutes. Will definitely be back and trying more stuff on the menu.

Best take out Thai food in Manayunk/Roxborough. We’ve tried many dishes on the menu. Our go-to is Tom yum(very rich flavor) drunken noodles (I always get beef -it’s very good) and coconut curry. Great portions, good to share. I also like how they add lots of veggies to their dishes. It really helps with my vegetable intake! The lady who cooks is really nice and always smiles when I come to pick up my food. Everything tastes fresh and homemade.

I was gravely disrespected by the owner once I called them immediately after I found this in my spicy Basil rice. I was hung up on multiple times, and then asked to bring my food all the way back in order to get my money refunded. Once I was there I was chastised and accused of lying. Was told my business was unwanted, even though I respectfully was accommodating, even after I was the one inconvenienced. Been a customer for years. The owner yelled at me saying that I have never been there before like that has anything to do with conducting your business properly in front of several people waiting.

The pad thai has the perfect amount of flavorful, delicious sauce in it and the crab Rangoon is some of the flakiest, crunchest and well filled I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced for the amazing quality of food and although I didn’t eat inside, I stopped to pick up my food and it is super cute in there!

Should have been 5 stars – food is tremendous and the portions very generous – but the dishonesty is upsetting. I walked in and picked up a take-out menu from a stack of newly printed menus. Above the stack was a sign indicating that prices had gone up 20%. “Okay,” I thought, “that makes sense, they’ve raised their prices and are letting customers know.” Nope, it ACTUALLY meant was that the prices on the takeout menus are ALL inaccurate and the customer needs to do the mental math to add 20% to each and every list price.

The food was amazing. Ordered chicken green chili spicy and fried dumplings. The green chili sauce was so tasty and the vegetables were very fresh. Dumplings were crispy. I went in while they were really busy and they got my carry out order done quickly. I will definitely be going back. Give this place a try if you want quality Thai food. Great people’s restaurant.

We’ve had better. I won’t say it was bad, but it also wasn’t something we’d want to repeat. Notably, both the Pad Thai and Thai Basil Fried Rice were needlessly overly spicy—to the point that both dishes had a red tint. Just the color itself was enough to be a turnoff. This may be desirable for some—just not us.
