Stopped by Bamonte’s at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon and stepped into a legit old-school Italian time warp. The bar at the front is right out of the 1970s decor wise (in a good way) and there were pay phone booths and a vintage cigarette vending machine in the bar to complete the effect. The restaurant’s decor sets the mood for the amazing meal you are about to have. We ordered Fried Calamari, Mussels Marinara, Clams Casino, and an Arancini special as appetizers (two are pictured). All were AMAZING. I ordered the Homemade Lasagna (pictured), which uncannily seemed to have the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Cannot recommend this place enough for outstanding Italian food and service!

True Italian gem in Brooklyn! The servers are in tuxes, and it feels upscale and authentic. The food was so good – the Rigatoni especially. Great simple house wine as well! Highly recommend stopping by this special place. It feels local and family oriented.

Classic Italian American restaurant. They definitely are the masters of serving since the restaurant has been around since 1900. We had a great dinner for a friends bday. Service was amazing, staff was extremely friendly. All the food is really good

I was with a large party and we enjoyed all of the entrées and appetizers! Plus, the entire staff was attentive and very friendly. I had the homemade ravioli and it was very delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the marinara was very fresh too. We did get quite the variety of appetizers/entrees/desserts and everyone enjoyed all of it. Also very convenient that they offer parking too. I highly recommend Bamonte’s!

Traditional Italian place. Wait staff is experienced. Food tasted good and was served at good temp. Service was slightly slower given large parties on a Friday. Expect a charge of 4% if you use card. Overall, good experience.

Hustling, bustling old-school Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Saturday night was packed, but it was comfortable. Several large parties filled our area with laughter and happy birthday song from wait staff and diners. Our apps (caprese salad & stuffed mushrooms) were both wonderful. Our entrees matched up equally. The ravioli was to die for and my Pork Chops Alla Bamonte was delicious as well. The spaghetti and meatballs were great and the chicken Parm was enough for two diners. Tiramisu was one of the best we have ever had.

Absolute classic NY Italian joint. Straightforward red sauce dishes. No frills but won’t disappoint. Mostly come for the vibe. You’ll feel like you’re in the kind of place Tony Soprano would patronize. Staff is awesome.
