Don’t let the somewhat seedy ambience mislead you, the food is delicious here! There isn’t a lot of seating, so you may prefer to get takeout.

4/5 stars. Took off one star because the pot of green tea could have tasted better. I would’ve liked our order of tea to be of an elevated quality versus Lipton green tea bags. Aside from that, the Pad Thai (tofu), Sesame Chicken, and pork eggrolls were delicious. Fresh and well seasoned.

First time dining in. I ordered pho, pad see ew and papaya salad thai style. Everything was so good! Wish I had known about this place sooner. Taste just like homemade and my mom’s cooking. If you want authentic laos/thai food, definitely check this place out. The restaurant is clean and small, perfect for those casual days. I will be back to try other dishes 🙂

Decided to try something new. Was planning on going next door and realized the next restaurant was closed. Glad it was because this small place is amazing. A true jem.

Great food and service. Be cautious of the spice. I thought I was a medium spice guy, but at bamboo, I am a mild spice guy. If the server gives you a recommendation on what to order, take it. Her recommendations to me have always been delicious and exactly as she described.

Nice little Thai/Lao restaurant. Went for the Phobruary $5 pho deal (between 2 other local restaurants). Was not disappointed, obviously the portion is smaller for the deal. The broth is clear and well flavored. Not too oily or dense. Meat was a good mix of beef slices and meat balls. Condiments and sides (basil, bean sprouts, lime and jalapeno) was good. Also tried the fresh rolls and pork Eggrolls.

So I’ve doordashed twice from here only bc I wanted to give them another chance. First time we were craving Chinese. The egg drop soup was scrambled eggs in a bland broth and the chow mien had no meat and was so greasy! Couldn’t even eat it. Second time I thought, well maybe their Thai would be better. Nope! The pad thai was almost like they used linguini noodles rather than the traditional rice noodles. The flavor was off and had only a couple pieces of meat. The spring rolls tasted like nothing and had chopped up iceberg lettuce. I can make them way better at home. Everything we have ordered from this place has been weird tasting and totally disappointing, unfortunately.

I’ve only gotten takeout here (actually via door dash) and it is amazzzing. Some of our go to’s are the house chow mein noodles, kang panang, the pad Thai, and our kids are obsessed with the sesame chicken. The best sticky rice (but I always get some jasmine for leftovers)! You can make almost anything as spicy as you want. We’ve had chicken, beef, and shrimp and the quality and freshness of all the ingredients is tops. Whenever we order somewhere else we end up saying “why didn’t we get Bamboo!?”

I would return. It wasn’t a knock out meal or great service, but for a low price we got good food and drink in a reasonable time.

I went in for lunch, and had a great visit. I ordered chicken satay, Thai tea, yellow curry, and Pad Prig Pow. All arrived promptly and were hot and flavorful. The sticky rice was wonderful, it’s not often I’ve received sticky rice that I could eat with chopsticks, so that was a pleasant experience.
