We went on a Friday night, around 6:30. We called ahead and were notified of a large party, but that they had a booth available. We arrived and were seated right away. The large party was there and nearing the end of their meal so service and timing were never affected. There were plenty of couples and four tops enjoying their dinners.

Got a bunch of different foods but it was all really good! The food I ordered was Pork Chops. There was a lot of onions. If you like onions then getting this would be the best for you. The Pork Chop itself was soft but kind of oily. I would also be very careful for shards of bone when eating. I had a few while I ate.

What a great place! The food is very tasty, portions are big and great value for money. The server was excellent, lovely to talk to. Wish we had more time on the island to visit again and try other plates. We really enjoyed our Pork Moco and Steak dishes.

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS food you can taste the love! Very homey atmosphere. They have so many wonderful options AND serve breakfast all day. I had the corned beef hash with two over easy eggs. Cooked to perfection. I cleared my plate. Mahalos!!

We were first time visitors. Our waitress was so kind, engaging, and helpful. She gave recommendations that were on point. We appreciated that the menu offered all day breakfast and lunch fares which were all yummy! Great service, fair prices, and good food. Easily one of our favorite meals and experiences on the island.

I got the Loco Moco and it was okay. The egg, rice and gravy were fine but the hamburger patty had an interesting flavor (not bad but not great, just different). The patty also had black char that came from the griddle and didn’t taste great. The service was great. The biggest problem I had with this restaurant was that it was very clean. My table was sticky, the walls looked dirty as did the floor and the clincher was that I either saw 1 bug 3 times or 3 bugs.

The menu and reviews caught our attention, but when we drove up to the restaurant, we were a little reluctant to eat here, as the shopping better looks a bit shady. But so glad we decided to try the Bamboo Grille Maui. Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. So tasty! I had the Big Kahuna burger and my son had the Pakukalo Burger. The meat was seasoned wonderfully and cooked to perfection. Not over cooked at all, just juicy. The fries were cooked so well! Very crispy, but not dry and tasteless. Desiree was a great waitress and was very attentive. We also tried the chow fun which was interesting with the added bacon. The katsu curry was also delicious. Food was 5 stars. Price was very fair. Decor is not fancy by far, but had a very Mom & Pop/ family business feel. Definitely “how in the wall” type vibes. Did I say the food was delicious?

I will change my review when I actually get to eat here. Arrived at 3: 53pm on a Monday afternoon and they’re closed. Will return at 8:00 a.m. in the morning is with the sign says. Also Google directions does not tell you that it’s on the second floor.
