The food is good yet expensive. The do not serve in platters. I went there for lunch and all my food came in individual containers. Lunch for 2 which was 2 oxtail platters was over $50.

Bamboo is gourmet Jamaican food. Luxury Jamaican food. You may huff and puff when you wait and pay but when you eat. All of that disappears lol. This place was perfect today. My picture doesn’t do any justice but I’m glad I got enough for leftovers l.

My coworkers and I stopped here for lunch with a craving for oxtails and curry goat. We were more than satisfied. The Oxtails, Curry goat, and meat pies are superb. The Ginger and pineapple juice was so refreshing and so was the pink lemonade. The food was so good we went back for more the next day!

I like the fried chicken. The rice and peas were okay, and the plantains were not that good. It seems the plantains weren’t ripe enough before they got cooked so they weren’t as soft and sweet. The Mac n cheese was also okay.

This place is spectacular! We moved to the area from Brooklyn and searched for good Jamaican food for years. This place answered our prayers! EVERYTHING is good and, since it is, this place is busy so it may take some time for your food to be prepared. Therefore, I place my order before leaving my house to pick it up. Sometimes there is some food left by the time I get back home that is because the portions are so plentiful!

THIS WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!! The boost the prices of the platters the food quality is bad. Mac n cheese is not all the way cooked. You pay for oxtails only 3 come in the platter. The rice is very dry and have no sense of flavor to it just all around a bad experience

When I said poor I mean very poor customer service from the tall lady who takes order sometimes and the guy who mostly cash now! They will mess up your order then tell you to pay extra for containers inorder to correct it…. I’m ashame to even refer anyone to this restaurant
