Legitimately one of the best BBQ places in Central Oregon. We picked up food here just after getting home from a trip and I was a bit disappointed in the amount of fat that I received in my brisket order. There was a significant amount of food, unfortunately what was actually edible was minimal. The ribs were great. The sides were all delicious. The smoked wings were devoured by our kids. All around great food and vibe, just bummed at how little of it I was able to eat.

I have to say that me and my wife visited this location and we are happy to say the food was pretty good. It’s not the best barbecue I’ve ever had but for what we paid and what we got we were very happy. We ordered the baldies extravaganza I would recommend this over other items as you get lots of food for 55 bucks you can’t beat that in the barbecue industry. And also my wife ordered the lemon drop cocktail and let me say wow that is a winner all by itself. Also I would like to add when you sit outside you can have your dogs with you and they bring water bowls to the table that is definitely an added plus Good going baldy.

Great service. I ordered Brisket, meat had no particular flavor of its own just smothered in sauce. Cesar salad was good, beans were good.

Good BBQ, large beer selection and it was a cool place, lots of outdoor space and I side is nice.

2lbs of brisket for 48$ with absolutely no smoke ring and the meat was gray. No smoke flavor and hardly any spots with the rub. Just cut up pieces of roast.

Baby Back Ribs are fantastic! Chili was the best too. Nice place and great service. I will go back for more.

Went to Baldy’s mid afternoon, midweek. Wasn’t particularly busy as expected, that time of day. Got seated quickly, service was timely. Food came out hot and delicious. Worry that time of day, but fears were not warranted. Everything was great !! Will definitely be back !!

The food DELICIOUS!!! Their prime rib was so tasty and full of flavor, didn’t even require using any added dressing. I did add horseradish anyways. The baked potato did not need anything and the skin was peppered and was full of flavor.

My second time at Baldy’s in 2 years. I was disappointed the first time, but I gave them another chance. I had burnt ends and onion rings. The onion rings were ok. The burnt ends were almost jerky consistency. You couldn’t cut them without a knife, and a steak knife would have been best. Burnt ends are supposed to be from the fatty end pieces of brisket and have an almost buttery texture. (I might have even sent them back if my server had checked back with me on how the food was). The guys sitting next to me didn’t finish half of their ribs and they looked extremely dried out. The outdoor seating was packed with families. Many reviews say this is the best in Central Oregon. This may be the best bbq restaurant, but that’s only because there really isn’t another. Many food trucks do a lot better. Most likely won’t ever go back.

Had ribs, Mac and cheese onion rings. The ribs were a 6/10. Kind of small and the taste ok. Cooked perfectly . Mac and cheese was runny and not much taste. The onion rings were a big disappointment. Barely any breading on them. I was eating limp onions rings basically. Overall it was good, but not good enough to come back for the same items.
