Mac and cheese was on point with a nice smoky flavor. The ribs were moist. The brisket was good, though I don’t like mine rubbed. The sauce was a little sweet, but she brought me a little spicier version, which was great. The bologna was delicious! We were the only ones there, so the service was great. Excellent music and vibe.

Very good food and a friendly server. Our order was ignored or misplaced and took over 40 min to get to us. Other than that, it was a good experience. Catfish bites and sauce were very good. Pulled pork was good/OK. I’d go back again and try some other items.

I went to Baker Bros. BBQ to see Emily McGill perform live! Good food and atmosphere. Vibe was family oriented and down to earth. Servers made the night easy by checking on patrons without making it awkward. Loved the location and plenty of parking around building.

We stopped Saturday after driving for 10 hours. We were all starving and I was excited to try a new restaurant close to home. We ordered a bbq sandwich, kids strip dinner, and a baked potato and waited 1.5 hours for our food that was placed as a to go order. 6 individuals/groups came ate and left before we received our food. When I asked the waitress how much longer it would take she went to talk to the cook and never came back with an answer. Probably should have just left but l hated to walk out not knowing if any of the food had already been prepared. They have pinball machines in the back that helped occupy the boys through the wait. Unfortunately I have to say that was the only positive thing we experienced there.

We went in on a Monday for lunch. We were a group of four. Two in the group are picky eaters. We were welcomed with a smile and friendly greeting. I was a little concerned that the place was empty, but the smell was very pleasant. We were waited on very quickly, and all our questions about the menu were answered. Food came in a reasonable time. Wow! It was delicious. I ordered The H.F. There are no words to describe how good it was. They have three different BBQ sauces, Spicy, Mild – vinegar based, and a sweet mild, called Hooch sauce, all of which they make themselves…along with their ranch dressing that we dipped our fries into. So good.

I had been craving some good BBQ so my family and I stopped in for the first time for a late lunch, and was greeted by a very friendly waitress. My wife and son got buffalo wings with an order of fries and I ordered the brisket plate. The brisket was incredibly dry, however the sides (potato salad and mac & cheese) were pretty good. I tried one of my son’s wings and it was just as dry. The order of fries arrived a bit late, but tasted good especially dipped in the ranch. I’m a huge fan of a juicy slice of brisket, unfortunately this place didn’t have it. I hate we left disappointed, especially for the price.

Definitely a hidden gem in Jackson. By far one of the best bbq places I’ve been to since coming back to Jackson. The pulled pork was amazing. The ribs were tender,. The pulled chicken was perfect. Definitely would give more stars if I could.

The food. Is. Delicious. True southern, smoked bbq. The bologna is the best in town. Perfect crust but still soft and perfect on the inside. The fried pies are delicate and amazing. Everyone in our party cleaned their plates and we will be back. Staff was amazing. Kind. And detailed orientated. 5 star all day. Ask for the hooch sauce.
