I was on a road trip and saw Baja Tacos, it looked like a local restaurant so I decided to try it. The taco was amazing, also I ordered the combination burrito (beef and bean). The beans overpowered the beef, it tasted okay if you enjoy bean burritos. Overall, this was good and affordable food.

We placed an order to go. Went to pick it up and only two bags were placed on the counter for pick up. We assumed we only had two bags. They let us walk out, get in our car and leave. When we got to the hotel is when they called to tell us WE forgot our food. Not how that works. I cannot see what names are on the bags you have on another counter. As customers, we trust what you say and to do your job so if you only hand us two bags…we are going to assume we only had two bags

Local, long-time fast-food Mexican favorite and culinary landmark. This homegrown fast food establishment is generally near and dear to most locals. Don’t let the limited seating fool you. It’s the place to be. Locals that have moved away frequent the place on their visits home and the usual hometown crowd is always there. I’ve eaten at this place for 30 years. The frito pies (double it as a monster pie) are the specialty, but the softshell tacos, chimicangas and open faced chili burgers are among other faves of mine. I usually get tomatoes (have to ask for them) and extra onions on my frito pies and chili burger and extra hot hot sauce on the side.

I tried the dorito pie, it was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. They have tacos and burritos, nachos, ect. You can even get dorritos in your burritos or nachos.

We moved here recently and heard a lot about this place so we thought we give it a try and to be honest I don’t see the hype with Baja Tacos. I was not impressed at all as a matter of fact I am very disappointed. I have been to better restaurants than this. Maybe it happened to be the crew working there that’s what I’ll chaulk it up to for now but me and my husband ordered 2 soft tacos and got one hard one… Asked for a chicken chimichanga per recommendation since that’s all they had for chicken and got beef instead. Watched them microwave an enchilada and warmed up the rice in the microwave! The food tasted mediocre I will not be returning here.

I have eaten here since day one when Ray Lambert opened it. Tacos were a quarter. This restaurant was so good at the time it forced other restaurants to close as the high school crowd quickly made this the place to go for lunch. Today almost as good as back in the day but the portions not quite what they used to be. Ray prepared the orders previously with great care now unfortunately they can’t seem to keep workers and not as dedicated as Ray was to ensure top quality. Ray worked the day shift and his wife the evening and their daughter Lisa ran the register.
