very nice place to hang out with kids, and eat some good quality Mexican street food. Ambience is very nice. Interior decoration is at par. Loved our server, Michael and cant wait to come back again.

Fantastic fusion of California/Mexican food! You will find the owner Josh behind the bar making fantastic margaritas. Refreshed interior that’s super fun. Make sure you try the street corn – it’s fantastic. And wether you have to go or not, stop by the bathrooms on your way out!

While the service was good, we were not terribly impressed with the food/beverages/cleanliness.

I was really excited to try Baja Haus for restaurant week. I got the poke appetizer, scallops, and flan for dessert while my partner opted for the chimichanga. He said the chimichanga was nothing special and it tasted dry. The flan was also dry and had no flavor. The scallops were actually delicious with unique flavors. I was hoping for more than 2 scallops for the price but the real kicker is biting into a huge staple that was found in my dish. It scraped my teeth and I was disgusted to pull out a huge metal staple out of my mouth! My partner and I stopped eating after because we lost our appetite. The manager came out and said it must have fallen on the expo line for take out and said she would comp my meal. They didn’t even try to bring me out a new entree! I was expecting they would at least comp our entire bill but the lack of customer service was apparent the entire night. Really disappointed since we wanted to like this place.

We decided to meet friends at Baja Haus for Happy Hour. We ended up having a group of 10 total and we definitely got the message that this was annoying and were told we should have made reservations. Fair enough. That being said, two long high top tables of 8 were completely empty the entire time we were there and most of the tables in the dining areas were empty. So we weren’t sure why they were annoyed by us. The food was good. The schools were fresh and the medium salsa was different in a good way. Tomatillo base instead of tomato. We were glad for the happy hour prices. After happy hour, it’s 11$ for chips and a 1/4 cup of salsa. The happy hour mussels were pretty good.

We went there on a Friday evening 8/4/23. To start with, Michael our waiter was beyond exceptional and made it one of the best experiences for our first time visiting here. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect and definitely would recommend the food and drinks. But, what stood out most was Michael… he took the time to explain each drink and put it into leimans terms for us as well as with the food and made very educated recommendations for us and described them to us as well. Very attentive and and has very clear passion for creating the best experience. Besides the quality of the product, most importantly Michael is the reason I will always recommend and be returning here. Hats off to you!

Sooooo I went here with a large party for my birthday and probably had one of the best customer experiences I have ever received at a restaurant in Minnesota.

Always a great meal! I have had barbacoa tacos, corn, Brussel sprouts, tuna poke and all have been amazing. Tonight I had the chicken tinga burrito bowl and the poke. They were both awesome. The specialty drinks are fine. I had the Jefe Margarita and it tasted like a margarita. Next time would probably save my money and get a basic margarita for $6 less. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it is in Wayzata, so thats expected (was $85 for 2 drinks, 1 app, 1 burrito and 1 burrito bowl.

Fantastic service from our waiter. Really enjoyed the cocktails and food items from calamari, to burger to tacos.
