We stopped into Bain BBQ for a late lunch/early dinner. I’m so glad we did! They serve Texas style BBQ. Heather, one of the owners, gave us samples of their burnt ends, ribs, and house made sausage. Everything was fantastic!

The BBQ was good but nothing fancy. The bun was cold and the potato salad had zero flavor. I had to put extra salt and pepper to give it a taste. My wife’s Mac n cheese was really good though. We order 3 Texas twinkies which were stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon. They was good but definitely not worth 12 bucks for 3 of them. Also, the portion sizes were extremely small for the price of the sandwiches. If you dine in and want a drink, you much purchase bottled water or beer. Overall, the BBQ was average and the sides were ok. Definitely not worth the price for the quality of food.

I love the whole atmosphere! Very Clean! When you come in the door you’re greeting with a Hi & a smile! I have been coming to Bain only to pick up orders, and everytime I come in the door I feel so welcome! The owner let me try a few items, like the beef brisket the chess pie….OMGGG they were both delicious! So I decided today to pick up a Togo order for myself….Check out my videos & pictures I post….

Pay attention to the sign, it’s Texas BBQ and it’s really. There are so many ‘Memphis’ sauces that Memphis BBQ is more defined by the generous portions of meat rather the flavor of the sauce. Texas portions here live up to the Texas legend of ‘everything is bigger in Texas’. Try the Texas Twinkie if you like a spicy start and the jalapeño cole slaw has some serious flavor too. Quite a variety of sauces to flavor your sandwich or take home. Had a sample of the brisket from the owner, Heather and Lauren came our table with a cookie for my Birthday Wife.

Without a doubt, the best brisket I’ve ever put in my mouth. This was my second time to eat here both times. It was very very good. I write it a 10 out of 10. On a Thursday the line was out the door so come prepared to wait, but it’s very quick, and they do give you a bite when you get up to the table. The desserts are all homemade, and when they run out they’re done so they’re close. The bakeries closed when they run out of the desert. but they are delicious. Pulled pork ribs are just as good everything is super. It’s not known very much in Memphis but I would definitely go there over some of the other big names.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had!!!! The owners are so fantastic and can always be found somewhere on site spreading smiles for the love of what they’re creating. Fun specials almost every day. Samples every time I come in! It can get so busy, but they are always so helpful in accommodating when they’re out of what my partner and I are looking for. Never a wrong choice with anything on the menu!! I LOVE this place!!!

Very good Barbecue. And since we were first-time customers and way past lunchtime on a busy day for them, they let us sample it ALL! The pulled pork is wonderful, smokey and sweet sauced. The ribs tender, falling off the bone. Smoked turkey is melt-in-your-mouth. But. Their Sausages are indescribable and I want one right now!!! Made and smoked on-site – They can’t be beat. Say hello to the lady at the counter. She may be one of the owners and she might give you a treat
