Edit** the food was still good 🙂 This was the absolute slowest baggins experience I’ve ever had. I waited 10 minutes in line for them to label bags, then as I sit here for another 20 minutes waiting for food, I kid you not, while I write this, another customer equally frustrated, who ordered before me, asked “how’s our food coming?” Lol I might get to eat by dinner. Just wow, I should have planned to go run errands or something. But as I continue to wait, so far another 5 minutes while I finish this review I’ll go back to watching some Netflix.

I was craving soup and a sandwich and decided to give this place a try since I don’t live too far. I placed an order online for the unforgettable wholesome half with chips and a drink, a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, and the carrot cake. I went to pick up at my chosen time, and it was chaotic. I stood in front of the registers ignored for 5 mins, and then when I was finally asked if I could be helped, they hadn’t even started my order. So they rushed a bag to me and I left. Got to my car and checked, no sandwhich. Had to go back inside with the chaos, and the young lady was waiting there with the sandwich. So they knew I didn’t have my sandwich, but no one took the initiative to bring it out to me. Terrible. The food was good but not worth the chaos and for $23.00. Also, check out the bowl of soup in the picture for $6.50. Not even full. They also were not the friendliest at all. All of the food I ordered was crammed into a greasy torn brown paper bag.

I visit Baggins maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks. I usually order the Unforgettable. Today I was a little confused. There was barely a sandwich there which was very odd because this has never happened before. My sandwich seemed to consist of bread and cream cheese. It took quite some time for my sandwich to be made also and it wasn’t even busy.

If you haven’t had their sundown sandwich you have to try it. It’s my all time favorite! Sesame salad is great too!

Went to dine-in had a very large order for some reason the register was on catering mode manager came over and fixed it. My card would have been charged twice over a hundred dollars the second one should have been less but turned out to be $145 manager said to come back if the higher amount was charged I just didn’t return for the refund

Good sandwiches, great staff, and a cozy interior, though a bit pricey for sandwiches I think I could make at home.

Absolutely the worse experience I’ve ever had. Danielle is the most unhelpful manager there. Daniella informed me that online orders are not as important as the rush that came in 45 minutes after you placed the order. She also let me know that she didn’t care that I was waiting another 15 minutes for the order to still be prepared as people who came in after I was in the store got their orders. And to top it all off the order I received was completely wrong. And even better they couldn’t be reached on the phone to do anything about it because they were to busy to “monitor the phones.” Extremely disappointing in the lack of understanding and willingness to make things right when clearly the service was far below expectations.

Baggins just charged me almost $18 for two scoops of tuna. For more than a decade I’ve been going to Baggins and getting the tuna cup. It’s a scoop of tuna in a cup (because I don’t want bread). I go to the Baggins all over town and they charge me typically between $8 and $10 for the two scoops of tuna in the cup. this time they said it would be almost $18, ($11+ for the first scoop and another $6+ dollars for the second scoop). I said gosh I’ve literally ordered this may be 150 times and never paid more than $10 or so. And they said well that’s what it is and I think maybe they didn’t believe me that I’ve been ordering this for over a decade… I suggested maybe they could just ring it up as two extra scoops and maybe that’s how everyone else has been doing it over the last decade, I don’t know. The “Tuna salad” is only $12 – it’s a huge salad with I think two scoops of tuna so obviously $18 for two scoops in a cup does not make sense. Anyway, I could probably get a steak at Flemings for $20 during lunch so maybe that’s what I will do from now on instead of coming to Baggins.

The Unforgettable taste is still there, but they sure have cut back on the amount of meat used. The difference in the amount of meat can be seen in the two photos I have uploaded. The one with the ball of meat is from my last visit in 2020 and the thin layered one is from August 2021. You can clearly see a $10 sandwich comes with a healthy amount of sprouts packed in
