Best pizza crust! You might not think it’s a big deal but once you taste it, you’ll understand. Flavorful and chewy but not tough. I love how their beer selection (even NA draft root beer) features local breweries.

The pizza is great, with the exception that I was charger 20 bucks for the gladiator and got a total of 12 pepperoni. The crust is great but who cares when the won’t put anything on it. The red blob in the middle of the pizza is the freaking sauce.

Service was quick and the food delightful. Got chips and salsa for an appetizer and the salsa was some of the best I have tasted. The philly was a nice change from traditional pizza. Can’t wait to go back to try others on the menu.

This place is positively wonderful. I’m a big fan of the Sunday brunch (try the Sunrise!) and the lunch special is fantastic for the price. Rotating different pizzas daily for lunch slices is a great idea. It has given me the chance to sample different options I might not have been brave enough to order as a whole pizza. I’ve found new favorites through the lunch special and I love that! Restaurant is always clean and service is quick and attentive. So glad we have a great local business like this one.

My group was in from out off town and we didn’t want to venture out from the hotel. We found Backyard was very close. We picked well. All of the food drew great reviews…pizza, appetizers and dessert. Myself…I had the Nashville hot pizza and it was phenomenal. We’ll make this place a “must” every visit.

Great food. We were in a hurry to get to a movie and we had the quickest service we’ve ever had at a sit down restaurant. Very good pizza and salads. We highly recommend.

Backyard Pizza blew me away with their wood fired pizza and cheese sticks. There’s another local wood fired pizza place I visit regularly, and they really have no competition, but Backyard is definitely someplace I’ll stop when I’m in that area and unable to go to my regular haunt. The service was great, drinks were always kept full, the waitress was cordial, and the prices weren’t too bad for what you get. Word of advice though, take some wet wipes because when you get done eating you’ll need to rinse your hands because of the wood fired goodness left on them.
