As good as everyone said. A bit off the beaten track, but nice place! Philly Cheesesteak was big and tasty. Cod and shrimp platter excellent! Nice corn meal batter really made the cod taste great. Good fries and nice crispy onion rings. The have music on the weekend and have a feeling that this place rocks! If you are in the area stop by; you will not regret it!

One of the coolest place nested in the valley of Hopewell Missouri.Backwoods is next to a natural spring that runs all year. The place is loaded with cool wood work and amazing food and cold drinks and hand dipped ice cream. They have live music Thursday Friday and Saturday nights very kid friendly.

Stopped here for a late lunch on the way back to STL from Johnson Shut-ins park. The burgers were great, the staff nice, and the atmosphere inviting.

Fun place with nice people and cool patio. Live music and pool/darts/arcade. Was able to watch the blues game so that’s a plus. Wasn’t terribly busy so we got to see the owners in their element. Good people with some mad karaoke skills. Wish we could remember one of the songs… something about champagne. Anyways, highly recommend.
