Great ambiance, beer and food. No table service so be ready to order food from the bar or via your phone. Beer is always great but went to try the pizza. It was fantastic. Great flavor and texture all around. We ordered the Meatza and it was well worth it. Quality ingredients. Didn’t bring the kids but they would have a lot of fun with the multiple games available. Great job Backpocket!

The patio is dog-friendly so we came here with mine. You have to order the food inside at the bar and go in to get your food when the pager goes off. Not very practical if you come alone with a dog. The fried chicken was good, beer is alright, burger was mediocre. Tried a flight of their beers and they were all okay. This is what I would consider shower beers.

They have an awesome space. Great indoor and outdoor seating, high ceilings, fun games. The beer is great. I enjoyed a tangerine Berliner Weisse and have had others I’ve liked. The food wasn’t my favorite. For one, tacos were unavailable, burgers were sold out, so the only options were apps or pizza. The chips with the dip were good but had varying degrees of crispness. The Buffalo wings were pretty good. The sauce was interesting, but the wings themselves were big and had lots of meat. The cheese bread was kind of bland. The ordering/pick up process is a little confusing. They text you when you’re food is ready, but sometimes people would bring food out. Helpful but also kind of confusing. You can order at the bar or at your table with scanning on your phone. I will go back to just hang and get a beer.

Excellent burgers, pretzel bites and the beers are amazing! Had fun playing in the arcade. Exactly what Johnston has been lacking, a place like this. Super nice staff behind bar. Food was easy to order and super fast to pick up at the window. Decor was spot on, can’t wait to go during the summer! Definitely will be back.

The off the leash dog patio is very nice. It is on the side of the building and seperate form the main patio so the dogs don’t get too overwhelmed by all the people or cars going past. I love that I didn’t have to worry about holding their leash while I was eating. Got there around 4pm for an early dinner, and there was nice shade and hardly anyone at the restaurant. While there, more people started to arrive and it seemed to get busy pretty quick. The staff at the bar was very nice and welcoming, explaining everything to me, as it was my first time in. The food was ready in decent time. The staff does not bring it to you like how normal resturants with servers are. You get a buzzer and go grab it when it is ready. I am not usually a huge fan of wings, but these were delicious. I got the bourbon peach BBQ sauce on them and a side of the korean BBQ to taste. The bourbon peach was amazing. Highly recommend. The korean BBQ sauce was like a sweet soy flavored sauce. It was good but when I think of korean I think of the blend of sweet and spicy heat, which this was not. I think it would be awesome if they were to try a honey garlic or a gochujang soy sauce. The burgers were a bit too done for our liking but they were still very good. I forgot to ask if I would be able to get medium rare. I think next time I would try a pizza. Overall, highly recommend. Looks like the games inside would be a blast, but even for an afternoon on the dog patio with a good drink would be an enjoyable time.

The location is nice and the beers are tasty. I can see fun summer afternoons there. Johnston community center has a splash pad next door in the summer; fun for kids! The old-school arcade takes quarters. Duckpin bowling is first come first serve with a QR waitlist. The Bar staff was helpful and kind, but there isn’t any other help with food ordering as it’s done by QR code. Figuring out where to pick up food was a good guess after chatting with other patrons who also did not know. Garlic cheesy bread didn’t seem to have garlic, and chicken tinga tacos were smothered in chipotle sauce that it was so spicy and inedible. The Korean steak tacos were good and the Margherita pizza was also decent. I know they are just opening and it was busy. there will be kinks to work out. Hopefully, there will be more signage or staff to help with food pick up too.

A fun place to hang out and their in-house beers are great. Please don’t go there and order a Busch Light; that defeats the purpose of a craft brewery. The bartenders were friendly and helpful.

Fun place, they have arcades and a small bowling area and then the bar and restaurant. I’m not a huge fan of having to order with a QR code. I wanted water so I had to get up and go to the bar. The staff was super friendly but when you order food, you go and get the food yourself. I was with a group, so getting up to get water and food meant our conversation had to be on hold several times. I also wish they had more appetizer options. We got the order of fries, pita chips with guacamole, and the churros.
