Great place for rich, strong and flavorful coffee in a very beautiful historic home. We met the owners. The husband is the main barista and we spoke to the wife who was a very kind and she told us the history of the home and her dream come true of owning a coffee shop in her home. The coffee was so good we got a pound of coffee beans. Great atmosphere with outdoor seating on the porch. The pastries looked delicious as well.

Such an amazing find! We got stranded in Williamsport due to bad weather, and found this little gem. Easily one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve been to on any of the 6 continents that I frequently travel. You will not regret a visit to the place! I only wish I had something like this local to where I live.

The atmosphere is maybe one of the best feature of this place, only second to the quality of the coffee.

Atmosphere: inside jazz was playing, tables are spaced nicely. Outside: lovely but the corner spot can get very noisy with trucks going by. There are tables on the porch that is covered and tables on the lawn with umbrellas. Mostly coffee, hot and cold, of various kinds. They have teas and chai for non-coffee drinkers. Scones and muffins are available. Cinnamon scones are very good, softer than many other places where they are harder and drier.

Coffee and scones are really good. Sometimes the wait time can be long because you have to wait for Ron to do make everything else first. Waited 15 minutes the other day for a black coffee. I figured that someone else working could do some of the simpler drinks.

Great scones and quiche. Beautiful old mansion!! Had two friends with me who were hoping for a variety of tea. Coffee is definitely the star of the show and it was good. When you have great scones, you are going to attract tea drinkers, so Ibwould have given 5 stars for a wider variety (or better adverising?) of tea.

got an affogato, my espresso was pulled incorrectly (how do you get grounds into an espresso shot) and the scones are delicious. service staff are like scared animals, and the owner even more so. edited review in response to owner’s original response & his historic response across multiple reviews and questions.

Decided to stop in while visiting from out of town, and were appalled by the female owner’s rude demeanor. The coffee was good and the girl who took our order was very sweet, but the experience was completely ruined by the owner’s snide comments and hostile manner. Beyond disappointed.

How did it take us 4 years to visit this place? My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owner is happy to tell the history of this beautiful house. The coffee was perfect. The only problem we had was whether to sit in the Cafe and admire the beautiful surroundings or sit on the porch and enjoy the weather. We will definitely be going back!

They lost a customer. The wife should not be in any form of customer service. She’s not good with people. It’s not my first bad experience with her, I’ve seen it to other customers, but it’s my first bad personally. The husband on the other hand, he’s well worth the trip if you do decide to go. But the backhand of the wife’s personality, more so lack there of, and her being snippy, it ruins it all.
