Been coming to Rehoboth Beach since 1992, Back Porch has always been my favorite restaurant. The service is friendly and helpful, atmosphere is relaxed but upscale, and the food is consistently delicious. My favorite meal starts with a pear martini, followed by sweetbreads, then the duck, ending with the bread pudding. If I haven’t had too much of their fabulous wine selections I’ll also share a house coffee since it’s too big (and strong) to drink by myself. We are moving to RB in the spring and I hope to make a weekly visit to The Back Porch!

Love everything about The Back Porch! It’s our favorite spot for celebrations and special occasions. Every single thing on the menu is delicious! A few of my go-to’s are the peppered cured loin of tuna, grilled octopus, English pea salad (best salad ever!!), halibut, scallops and the beef tenderloin! Oh and the House Coffee is the best dessert drink in Rehoboth!

Had an amazing dinner! Food was absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is crisp veal sweetbread and scallops! Wonderful and authentic atmosphere! Cocktails are unique and taste is phenomenal! The Back Porch never disappoints. We make a point to stop by for dinner or drinks- or both!- every time we are in Rehoboth on vacation. The food is fantastic, and the Havana Daydream cocktail is a family and friends favorite. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are fantastic. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great for special occasions- I had dinner here the night I got engaged and had pre- wedding drinks before my wedding at the bar.

We knew we were in for something special after the crab ravioli as an app. they didnt have the exact wine but we took their suggestion (cheaper too) and it was a perfect pairing. A great menu with old standards from year to year along with wonderful new additions. One of the best and most well-prices wine list at the beach. Always great attentive service. Finally, be sure not to miss out on the house coffee flamed table side.

We have been dining at the Back Porch Cafe’ for years. It is undoubtedly one of the hidden gems in Rehoboth Beach. The food is always perfect, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is quintessential old Rehoboth. The new owners have elevated the whole experience to be even more warm and welcoming. Don’t miss the Pepper Cured Tuna, Rabbit Bolognese, Seared Scallops (brunch), and Turkey Burger (brunch). Honestly though, everything is truly exquisite. Cheers!
