First time trying this Cuban restaurant, and we were not disappointed! I’ve had a lot of Cuban food and this is some of the best. The Arroz Con Pollo was so flavorful, I just wanted more (and I will come back for seconds). The Cuban Coffee was also on point. Yum yum yum!

My partner and I came in the morning for pastries, coffee, and burritos. The burritos were the perfect size— and the sauce they came with just took them up a notch, flavor wise. They make everything from scratch, including the guava jam. The guava pastry with cream cheese was outstanding. Flavors are incredible, and extremely affordable in a city where both are hard to come by. Family run— cozy and friendly. Will be going back and recommending to all of our friends!

First, I would like to mention that I DO NOT write reviews unless the service was absolutely horrible/out of this world. Babalu’s is a hidden gem! A friend of mine told me about food, so I went to check it out. I was in fort Collins for a short time that day and stopped by. The owners went absolutely above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the visit. I stopped in for a Cubano, saw the quesitos, and it was game over! The food and the pastries are delicious! I love the vibe and the staff. I would highly recommend this cafe to all of my friends!

This is probably the best restaurant in Fort Collins. They have a limited menu but everything on that menu is incredible. Their cuban is the star of the show but the pastillos are also delicious. It’s family owned and family staffed which I really respect. If you’re looking for food after the Saturday farmers market this is the place. No other Cuban restaurants in Fort Collins come close to Cafe Babalu

What an amazing place! Great owners, prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Authentic and very flavor forward. We had the empanadas, arroz con pollo, a guava pastelito, and cortadito and couldn’t finish between two of us because portions were great. Definitely stop by next time you’re in ft collins, it’s in a cute little mall area with seating and other cute shops to explore.

Living in Florida for 9 years I’ve eaten a lot of Cuban and Babalu’s is one of my favorite veggie burritos I’ve ever had. Their pastelitos are equally as delicious.

Cubano: 5/5 The pork is really really tasty and the ham is tender, not like some other cubanos I’ve had where it’s been rubbery. Good amount of pickles and mustard to cut through the meat and cheese. The bread is golden brown.

I lived in Florida for a year, eating a Cuban sandwich at every chance, and this place is just as good. Amazing, authentic Cuban food. And to top it off, the owners Frank and Rosa are extremely kind people. Highly recommend, a hidden gem in Fort Collins.
