Great food , Nice cozy atmosphere andboh my god their Baklava is the original taste of baklava, well balanced, crunchy and not too sweet. You have to try it.

I liked this place, it is a good option for lunch around the UIC campus. The food was good, and the service was also very nice. You order at the counter, and they bring the food over. The prices were reasonable, and during the first week of January, it was not very busy. The atmosphere and ambiance was also very pleasant.

Cozy environment, friendly staff, and delicious food at affordable prices, highly recommed it. We ordered kibbeh plate, salmon special, and falafels, and our order came out in perfect timing, freshly prepared, and tasted amazing! Can’t wait to return and try other items from the menu

I highly recommend this cozy and superb place!!! The owners are some of the friendliest and kind hearted people I’ve ever met. They make everyone feel so welcome and it shows in the quality of their service and food. I love this restaurant I would eat here everyday. The prices are great, the ingredients taste fresh and their dessert selection is delicious too.

One of the best middle eastern/mediterranean places in the city! The meats are exploding with flavor. I always get the beef kufta wrap and it never fails to disappoint. Falafels are crispy, flavorful, and not oily. Very reasonably priced. Great service. I always crave this place.

Baba Pita was delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. The place was empty, however lots of carryout service and delivery. So to us that was telling. Very interesting and unique art work which added to the ambiance. There were five of us, three had the chicken shawarma, one had the kifta sandwich and one had the salmon platter plus four bottled water and one strawberry lemonade…. Total bill $47. Strawberry lemonade was really good. Later we then had three cups of tea…$6 plus tax. Tea was nothing to rave about. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely go back again.

If you don’t try the falafel you have made a huge mistake. I tried it and now I am a better person. I also got the jumbo shrimp plate and was very happy. My gf chose this place to eat, and i was hesitant at first just because i wanted chipotle, but i am pleased with her choice. I will never eat chipotle again. I give Baba Pita 5 stars!

I had the Meat Combo Plate and the Malaysian Coffee. The service was quick and the staff is very nice. The coffee was great, however the food could’ve been a little bit more seasoned. They give you a decent amount of food for the price and it’s walking distance from me so that’s a plus. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Baba Pita has great chicken dishes, but the beef shawarma is the best I’ve ever eaten. The owner really knows how to prepare beef. I also recommend the beef kefta. Their freshly made drinks are excellent as well.

Amazing — wish I could give more stars! We paced a short notice catering order here and not only were they accommodating on our request, they even stayed well beyond their closing time to allow us to pick up at our earliest convenience. Not to mention, the food was delicious! Highly recommend; this was our first time at Baba Pita but most certainly won’t be the last!
