Food was amazing. The homemade peanut sauce with the fresh shrimp spring rolls was so flavorful and complex, as was the seafood tom yum soup. The only server and cook were incredibly friendly and apologetic about the long wait. They had an unexpected busy night with a lot of online orders and compensated us with a free drink and discount on our bill. If we ever come through again, would go again.

We were in town for our summer vacation and were craving Thai food. Another Thai restaurant was closer to our hotel but the wait was an hour, so we Googled to find another place. It brought us out to Box Elder and we almost drove right by. Don’t let the “for sale” sign cause you to make that mistake. And don’t judge a book by its cover. We were the only people there, so we were worried but it wasn’t long before the place filled up! And for good reason – some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! The chicken egg rolls were the best I’ve eaten, the Tom Kha Ga was fantastic, with such depth of flavor and the Pad Se-ew and Pad Thai were spot on. One piece of advice – medium spice is closer to hot (at least for my palate). Start low and add spice if it you’re unsure. The owner was so kind and attentive and you could see the pride he and his family has in their food. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped on our way through from Mount Rushmore headed to Tennessee. Completely off the beaten path but well worth it! Owner was very friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were clean. I had the Orange Chicken and hubby had the spicy fried rice. Food was delicious! I ordered sweet tea not realizing Thai version is very different from Southern version but it was delicious also. Would totally recommend!

Right when we walked in. The server was very riendly. Food was absolutely amazing from Thai’ chef lady who came and talked to the table to ensure she was delivered amazing food at our table.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but what a great find! Really nice inside. We eat a lot of Thai so have a bit of a discerning palate, and we really enjoyed the food here, the service, and atmosphere. Try it out!

We’ve never been disappointed with this place. The first time we went to Baan Thai we showed up intending to eat dinner in their dining room. However it turns out that they weren’t open for dine-in just carryout/doordash. But they took pity on us and let us sit at a table while we waited for our (now carryout) order. They even gave us a few free thai iced teas while we waited.
