This is some of the best food I’ve had in the Puget Sound. I have never had something on their menu and not immensely enjoyed it, from their excellent cocktails to their delightful food items. If you enjoy fusion food, this is an absolute treat.

super solid food, everything was super good. our waitress was great, but the two younger girls working the check in seemed a little rude and confused. was quite the awkward experience asking for a table….but i would certainly come back and i think it was the best food i’ve had on bainbridge

Best avocado spring roll I’ve had. And I eat those…A LOT!! Just appetizers and drinks today. Super refreshing on a very warm day and after walking 5-6 miles being a tourist nonetheless…it was a great respite to replenish and wind down on the second day of anniversary vacation. Next up…Cruise to Alaska!

I can’t say enough about how incredible this experience was for us. We managed to sneak in and get a couple of bar seats, but since we came early they moved us to a table. The service from bar to table was incredible and the food blew us away. We enjoyed the spicy truffle wontons, the sizzling lemongrass lamb and the bun cha ha noi, which was a great pork sampler and included the taro egg roll. It was almost a spiritual experience to eat here. Loved it! I will be back.

This is the sister restaurant to Pho T&N in Poulsbo, which is probably our most frequently visited restaurant in the county. It is an entirely different experience, however, so be aware of that going in. BaSa is definitely tailored to the Bainbridge crowd, it has more upscale menu items, a full bar with creative cocktail options, and a totally different menu.

Everything was great, from the food, atmosphere, and service. We got the chicken buns for an appetizer which were perfectly flavored and a delicious bite. Chicken bahn mi and lemongrass lamb as entrees were both delicious and extremely flavorful. Prices were a little higher than we would like to spend for lunch, but it was worth it! Highly recommend!

Best Vietnamese food! My wife ordered the Sizzling Egg Plant and Tofu. I ordered the Black Shoyu Garlic Chicken. We both agree that their menu had a lot of dishes you don’t typically see in your average Vietnamese restaurant. With that being said, Damn the food was good. If you have no idea what you want, order the Black Shoyu Chicken. My wife said she would order her Eggplant and Tofu again and again.

Ba Sa was a real treat on our trip to Bainbridge. We managed to snag seats at the bar without a reservation and that’s absolutely how I’d choose to be seated again. The energy at the bar was great, with lively and consistent service. The food options weren’t the largest vietnamese menu I’ve seen before, but what was available all looked great. The food we ordered was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the pho. Cocktails were similarly tasty, but I want to highlight the excellent whiskey options available as well. Was not expecting to get an amazing neat pour of bourbon at a fair price here! Will absolutely return next time we’re on Bainbridge.

The first couple times I came here when they had first opened were excellent. The past two times in the last 6 months not so much. A very oily and dry pork chop, the corn ribs are a great idea but way over salted, but the lamb wasn’t too bad, maybe needed an acid to bring it together. Service is great and the staff are friendly, I just wish the execution was more consistent.

Ba Sa should be a good experience, but it always disappoints in some way. The food is *almost* great, but then I leave feeling fleeced. Their pictures online are gorgeously plated but come out looking boring and greasy. The taro rolls and wonton small plates were good, but expensive. The entrees were heavy, not particularly well seasoned, and . . . expensive. The worst part was my co-worker getting charged $18 for a scant glass of chardonnay. Oh, and that extra 5% added charge is ridiculous. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t turn us upside down and shake us until more money fell out.
