My boyfriend and I went here for our 5 year anniversary and it could not have been a better experience. The food and atmosphere was a 10/10 but it was the service and our waiter, Jay that made it unforgettable! We will definitely be back for the steak, veal chop, espresso martinis, and cheesecake! Thank you, B. Christopher’s for an unforgettable dinner.

Where do I start? I booked a room at the Hyatt downtown and searched for a good restaurant in the vicinity. However, the restaurant was not a good one. It was not a great one. It was best described as divine. Let me say, I am a proud patron of fine dining. I don’t consider myself pretentious, but I can recognize and appreciate elevated cuisine when I see it. Especially since the pandemic, because expectations have been lowered so much for obvious reasons. I arrived at B. Christopher’s at my 7pm reservation and was immediately seated at a lovely table facing the street through a large panoramic glass window. I started with a delicious oyster Rockefeller. My wife ordered a bowl of an herbaceous French onion soup paired with an iceberg salad wedge that was very simple and elegantly presented. I ordered a main course of filet of beef served Oscar style with a velvety bernaise sauce. As a side, I had a delectable corn brûlée and roasted asparagus spears. The bread served with this dish was airy, light, but with a dense and crispy crust. Delicious! I hadn’t planned on dessert, however, the main courses, and appetizers had exceeded expectations, so I felt compelled to proceed. I chose the fried beneigts with raspberry coulis. It was an exquisite choice. Warm, flaky, with the added acidic jolt from the coulis….truly a joyous culinary experience. I don’t remember the last time I was so impressed with technique, presentation, service, and ambience. I recommend this restaurant with all confidence. It was truly a fine dining delight. Cheers❤️

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good steak in Downtown Greensboro! We had the filet for two and it exceeded expectations. Also the perfect amount for two people to share. The ravioli appetizer will be a skip in the future as it was not our favorite.

I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys seafood and steak. I had the seafood and my friend had a steak. Delicious! The waiter was very helpful, friendly, and social. A nice environment for a romantic night out, dinner with a friend, or even a work related dinner or lunch. They also have a great selection of wine and cocktail specials, as well as many nonalcoholic beverages.

I was underwhelmed with my experience here, and expected more than sub-par food from a fine-dining establishment. The chicken breast was bland, yet the green beans on top were very salty. The “beignets” tasted good, but advertising them as such was a stretch. They were croissants – flaky, instead of pillowy like traditional beignets. I was quite disappointed in the quality and portions of my meal. My friend who ordered the steak said she’d had better NY strip at Outback. The private dining room was perfect for our party of six and our waiter was attentive, but I expected more elevated cuisine, especially at that price point.

We had a great experience at B Christopher’s! We had a large party of 8 and sat in a separate room. The food was all incredible. The oysters were fresh and the steaks were cooked perfectly! All of the desserts were incredible! The one and only issue is that we ordered cheesecake and coffee that never came but we weren’t charged for them so it wasn’t a big issue. We will be back for sure!!
