We used to go to the restaurant Kitchinetta which was the previous restaurant at this location. We decided to try this new restaurant and boy did it ever exceed our expectations. The staff was fantastic, waiter Alberto was a riot, and the food was absolutely delicious. Easily one of the top Italian restaurants in south Florida. We’ll be sure to visit again before leaving.

Wow! Azzurro Cucina is not just a place to eat dinner and go home, this is an experience. I don’t think my review is going to do this place justice, because it really was that good. Best authentic Italian restaurant in Broward, hands down.

What an amazing place, we saw their videos on instagram about their Gnocchi 4 formaggi and the table side bucatini tossed on a wheel cheese and we were so intrigued to taste it, we went there on a Friday night, we loved the service, the atmosphere and the Italian music in the background made me feel that we took a flight to Italy, the food didn’t disappoint, it was exactly what we imagined… the quality and the freshness is all what we were looking for, my children loved the pizza. We’ll definitely be back with friends and family. Highly recommend them!

Recently opened for business, our party ate there for the first time on Good Friday. The atmosphere was bright and airy, the food was exquisite, and the service was outstanding. Will definitely go back soon.

I can’t say enough good things about the food at this place, out of this world!!! My husband is Italian, we have been to dozens of Italian restaurants in Miami, Boca and the surrounding areas and this has become his new favorite restaurant, all the food is just amazing! It is a new restaurant that just opened and deserves to be known, it is a true hidden gem. We ordered the grilled octopus, fish soup, lamb chops and vanilla panna cotta, the presentation of the dishes and the service was great!

Tonight was our first visit to the new restaurant Azzurro Cucina Italiana. The restaurant has taken over the space formally known as Kitchenetta on Federal Highway just north of NE 26th.

The staff was extremely welcoming, and the food was delicious!!! The garlic bread from the oven-fired Grill was delicious. I ate almost two baskets of bread. We started with the octopus, which was flavorful and delicious, and for entrées, we had the lamb chops with rosemary grilled potatoes and the Tagliere pasta, which was also tasteful. After all of this, we were stuffed, but we topped it off with the cannolis, which has my mouth watering as I type this review.

Wanted to have a nice relaxing dinner and chose this place. Walked in and immediately were greeted by smiling staff members. We got seated right away and our server was very welcoming by telling us about the specials. I was super excited to hear that they served their cacio e pepe special out of a Parmesan cheese wheel and it got tossed in truffle oil. We shared everything and had a fantastic dinner. We ended it with a pineapple carpaccio w sorbet, coffee and digestifs. Tutto e stato fantastico!!! Will be back soon! Leave a like or follow me if this was helpful. Check back for updates and new reviews of places around South Florida.

Very cute place. High end authentic Italian. Very tasty. Some items on the menu ran out. So we were sort of forced to change our meal choice twice. Extremely large portions. You can certainly share the “lightly” breaded chicken meal. It was delicious. As for our waiter… he was a bit cynical, non-friendly. Maybe it’s just his personality, but it was my friends birthday so… you can understand why we deducted a star. However, the owner was extremely nice and friendly, like your favorite uncle. Be ready to pay $$ for authenticity!

Azzurro is probably the most underrated restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. For all of you who liked Kitchenetta (the restaurant that occupied this space for years prior), you owe it to yourself to try this place, because the homemade pasta rivals or may be even better. I ordered the ravioli with porcini mushrooms, and it was delicious. They throw some other varieties of mushrooms in there too, and it’s all cooked and plated with a great deal of care and love. Menu prices are lower than other comparable restaurants. Staff is kind and attentive. Why this restaurant isn’t full every night of the week is baffling. This should easily be Fort Lauderdale’s go-to Italian restaurant. Delicious.
