Very nice atmosphere, feels a little fancier but still comfortable. We had dinner. The prices are reasonable and the food was really good. I like that the menu has symbols showing which dishes have raw seafood in them. There was a birthday celebration going on at the hibachi table and it sounded like they were having a fun time.

The staff was great, the menu had lots to choose from and you couldn’t go wrong with what you picked. The only issue was that it was a bit dark in there but, besides that the food was amazing!! The waiter made a great recommendation for me

We sat at the Hibachi table and everything was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly and everything was so good. I thought the fried rice was so good it was comparable to what I had in Japan. The sushi rolls are plated in such a fun way too! We will definitely be back!

We go to alot of sushi places… This was our first time here… Super packed we got lucky to grab a spot at the bar…. Parking lot full. There was a huge line out the door… Great decor and atmosphere. Quick to be approached by the bartender and drinks were fast. The food took over 30+ mins for three rolls of sushi only though… Was a bit disappointed the rolls were poorly wrapped the outside of the rolls weren’t even full covered in rice lots of bare spots and probably the smallest ones in the capital region. It just easily fell apart. My husband got the dragon roll… He didn’t like it… Actually the first place he said it didn’t look appetizing could only eat half, I was shocked… He always gets it everywhere

Stopped by off the highway to get food and gas. I had the edamame, sushi sampler and the crazy tuna roll. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the food was well prepared and delicious!

If Azuma Sushi Bistro in Malta isn’t on your list of places to try, it needs to be. Exceptional food, fair pricing, intelligent, thoughtful, and friendly waitstaff, attention to detail, and beautiful artwork and decor really make this place top notch. We’ve had our fair share of sushi and this place really hits high on the list. With competition like Duo, Wasabi, Kinjo, and many others in the area, Azuma really does an excellent job mixing delicious food and an incredible atmosphere. Pictures include Spicy Tuna rolls, Shrimp LoMein, Lunch Bento Box with Thai Basil chicken, etc. 10/10 will definitely be returning soon.

Great new addition to local sushi options, this is my 3rd time. Always crowded – good sign! One time sit down and 2 times take out. Sushi is always fresh and well prepared, this time I had the Kiss on Fire roll which was unusual and AWESOME! Absolutely delicious

This was our second time at Azuma for Hibachi. This time it was for birthday celebration. The Chef was great and everything from the fried rice, shrimp, filet and lobster were cooked to perfection. The Chef entertained us with his knife skills, a flaming onion volcano and accurately tossing fried vegetables in our mouths. The eating area and grill were absolutely clean when we arrived and the Chef thoroughly cleaned the grill before leaving us. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Easily our favorite sushi restaurant in the capital region, nothing but great things to say about Azuma! Whether we stop by for drinks, takeout, or dinner the experience never disappoints. The food is always phenomenal and comes out quickly. The staff is kind and attentive. Tina and Venix ensured we had everything we needed last night. You can even sit at the sushi bar and watch how hard the chefs work. Can’t wait to go back for another great meal.
