I have eaten here several times and it’s always been pretty good (a little overpriced) but we had only dined in, this was our first time doing take out. The take out was ridiculous, their FIFTEEN dollar nachos were less than 10 tortilla chips with melted cheese that was already cold even though picked it up as soon as it was ready and we live 5 min away. Most of the food was cold and the guacamole was already turning brown. The foods packaging was also leaking, needless to say their way of packing takeout sucks. For having spent over $70 I think the amount of food and how it was served was preposterous. On a more positive note, this is the ONLY time they have gotten the doneness of the meat in our order right. All the times we’ve dined in, they had overcooked the meat but this time it was on point. If we do decide to give this restaurant another try though I doubt it, it will only be dine in.

Great place to celebrate our 40 Anniversary with my wife. The environment was the ideal atmosphere. Food simple the best and the Service wonderful. Our Waiter Sahi was very polite and very dedicated. We had one of the best moments of our lives in that day. Thanks Azúcar Restourant and keep up.

Went for Mother’s Day and it was quite crowded so we sat at the bar. Food was good (flank steak was cooked a perfect medium and was well seasoned). I ordered a frozen margarita which was good also. The chips and dip were tasty, service was slow but they were busy so it’s understandable.

Had a good experience. Mainly because of Katie she was very friendly and professional. The bartender seemed very controlling I didn’t like that. He didn’t seem friend out initially until I let him know he should calm down. After that he was okay. I think it’s in his nature to be controlling but he should control that. Overall I had a quesadilla and a margarita and a beer with my partner. It was a good evening and she said she had a pleasant experience and earlier that day also!

Our dinner took 2.5 hours. It was mother’s day and somewhat busy but not slammed. I had to wait a half hour to get a water glass and then I was only able to get it filled once. Our drink order also took a half hour to arrive. The fajitas tasted good but were overpriced for the serving size and not hot. They put the tortillas down at the other end of the table and there were just 4 so I thought they forgot mine. Like forever later we were able to signal and he brought 3 more but he said the original were for both. The shrimp weren’t peeled so that was a bit of a struggle but at least I had a pointy knife. My husband gave up and used his fingers. The beef was mostly fat and gristle. Feeding the kids $18 entrees really made it an expensive trip. They probably would have preferred Chipotle and gotten more food.

I went to this Restaurant to eat a Sopa de res and it turns out this location have a bad service, I complained regarding the sopa not having enough meat and, they put lots of bones without meat on it. I asked for a manager and no one came to me and fixed the issue. What I was told is that thats how they cook the sopa de res. Lame excuse but I definitely not returning to this Restaurant again… Go to Ay Jalisco Restaurant in Snoufer School Road, they have better food and service.

Very disappointed!!! I used to visit this restaurant since 2011 and during my last visit for Mother’s Day 2023; they really did so bad. They were not prepared for the special date, their service was the worst (didn’t have any), food delayed, food overpriced with small portions and so more. Not returning for sure

The 3 stars are for the food only. The Bistec Cubano was pretty good. The service was HORRIBLE. We sat down at 2:40pm and a server brought Chips and Salsa at 3:00pm. Another server came back at 3:15pm to get our drink order. We finally were able to order our food at 3:30pm.

Wonderful food, delicious and plentiful. Great chips and Salsa to start too. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Wait staff so professional. Saw them setting tables only touching glasses and silverware with towels or napkins. Highly recommend.
