We were a party of 10 at this location in celebration of my wife’s birthday. I must say how everyone as they ate commented on how fresh, delicious, and excellent their dish was. This is by far the best food I have ever had. The rice was excellent, fluffy and tasty. The portions were perfectly filling. In addition, the food was served in a timely matter.

Went in on a Sunday at around 6 pm and it was a bit lonely, the service was regular and the food was ok, portions were large and reasonably priced, it was authentic and overall a good experience. (Ordered the Chile relleno).

I’ve been disappointed with their takeout three times now. Its okay but overrated. My quesadilla tonight was weird- I couldn’t pick it up and had to use a knife and fork. But the corn tortillas just ripped apart and the chicken, while plentiful, was barely seasoned and dry. And I didn’t get sour cream.

Came in on a rainy Saturday night. We were seated promptly but waited far too long to have our order taken… and even longer for our food to be served.

So disappointing. Ate there in the early part of pandemic and the food and service was great. Went last night and was sat next to an employee who was watching videos, playing games and talking on his phone – volume was clear enough to hear theme songs and games. He was also coughing and sneezing – appeared to be sick? Or just allergies… but not professional. It smelled of weed when we walked in. Our waiter was soooo slow and uninterested. Also, cash only establishment. The food was good though and I loved their serving dishes. Overall the food verses the cost & service – not worth it. we won’t go back again.

I’m Italian and Swedish, but I swear there has to be some Mexican in there because I LOVE Mexican food and drinks and culture! I’m so so excited that we were recommended this local gem. And I’m so glad you’re reading this because you NEED to go. Like get in your car, or hop on your bike, or take a plane instead of going to Mexico because this place is AH-MAZING (although the Delaware is very underwhelming compared to Mexican beaches). This place is authentic from the chef to the owner to the decor. I loved the secret entrance down an alleyway and the music playing while we ate. There’s so much to choose from on the menu, we’ll be back to try more. Our server was very kind and catered to our picky kid eaters. I had a delicious margarita and this mound of love the burrito sabanero ♥️ I’m eating my left overs for breakfast tomorrow because I can’t wait til lunch. Also the guacamole was so creamy and the salsa was super fresh. This was genuinely the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lots of Vegetarian options and great ambiance. I will say – the vegan-chorizo tacos are a bit dry (could use a Chipotle-mayo type of sauce) and the red sauce could use more enchilada seasoning but otherwise a great place. Portions were huge and the chips and salsa were spot on. Just remember to bring cash as it’s cash only but there is an AtM in the restaurant.

We found this place after extensive research. Had two other Mexican restaurant recommendations; however this one seemed to call my name.

We went there for Cinco de Mayo. Of course the restaurant was crowded so getting our food took a bit longer than usual but that was not what we took issue. What we didn’t like was that the calamari was not only clearly frozen given its uniform shapp and appearance but that it tasted like fish that had gone bad. I personally think when you pay money to eat at a restaurant every dish on the menu should be homemade or close it rather than store bought frozen but that’s just me. At any rate, everything else was ok such as the service and atmosphere. We just won’t order the calamari again.
