Small Japanese restaurant with lots of options in the menu. The bento lunch option has generous portions and taste great (but the dumpling in the bento was not the greatest). The sushi is fresh and simple. Overall it was a good meal and fast service.

Just had a takeout lunch from Aya Sushi. The rainbow roll and the sashimi (salmon belly, octopus, yellowtail, yellowtail belly, fluke, striped bass) was delicious and fresh. Was even given a free extra eel sauce and extra soy sauce, plus a dessert orange that had been cut in interesting fashion. The portions were perfect for me so I didn’t feel like I had too much or too little…just right. Definitely recommended to any connoisseurs of Japanese cuisine, regardless of living in the area or visiting.

We visited NYC for a night and were craving Sushi. We found this little sushi restaurant and decided to try it. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. Prices were very reasonable, especially for NYC. Portions were generous, particularly the bento box. Most of all, all utensils were reusable, quite unlike many eateries in the city. The only drawback was lack of access to a bathroom, but this was clearly stated on the door and in the restaurant. Friendly service and a cozy dine in space. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is small but serves perfectly acceptable Sushi. The Miso was tasty and the Sushi selection was good. I wasn’t overawed but I did enjoy the food. It is very close to the Hilton Hampton Inn. If you are looking for a reasonably priced meal fairly close to Penn station and Times Square then this is a good choice.

Don’t let the size of this place fool you, their curry dish was amazing, and my daughter ate the chicken katsu. Staff was super friendly and the food was fresh. Highly recommended!
