Was in Richmond visiting our friends for the weekend and we decided to stop by for lunch. This place was definitely not what I was expecting. I thought it would be a generic Tex-Mex place but it definitely surprised me. We went for lunch on a Saturday, and it was moderately full. The inside has some Mexican decor. We were able to get a table for 9.

This place was kept very clean and well decorated. The staff was attentive and the food came out incredibly quick. there was a lot to select from on the menu and the portions are giant! Food was delicious and well cooked as well. Great place to go, I recommend it and will go back myself!

I had gotten takeout from this restaurant once before and I was very satisfied with the food and how it tasted. My only complaint was that the veggies should be cut up a bit smaller and that the Tierra y Mar that I ordered both times did not have enough scallops. It seems like they give you 3 or 4 scallops and they cut them in half to make it look like you have been given a nice portion. No big deal. Ordered takeout again yesterday and when I got home and looked at my food I was so disappointed. Everything looked like it had been cooked on a burnt or unclean grill. Everything was scorched black. I couldn’t eat the chicken in it at all-the zucchini and squash was mush and the shrimp were too overcooked and rubbery to eat. I was very disappointed and felt cheated out of my money. I’m not sure if I would order from them again. The person who gave me my order was nice however and the place was not busy and it looked clean.

Love the friendly staff and the appearance of the restaurant. It’s relaxed and fun, no pressure to hurry up and finish. Excellent adherence to social distancing guidelines. Our food was hot and fresh, but there was no flavor. From the salsa to the bbq to the fajitas. It’s good, but there’s no spice or boldness in anything. Not a bad experience overall. Kick the flavors up and we’re rocking!

Another restaurant to add to my rotation. I couldn’t ask for better service and the food was very good. I got the pollo loco with a side of ranchero beans. I liked the decor and the bathroom was very clean. There was ample parking and I was able to get seated immediately. Looking forward to my next visit.

Both salsa sucks! That for one. Friendly staff and love the bar. Staff wears masks t all times and music is hype , thank god! The food I tried was delicious only because of the cheese! I will try it again but that salsa omg needs to change. Will only return for the dish itself.
