In the past 12 months this place went from “hey I’d def recommend visiting and going out of your way to do so” to “there is a Valero down the road about 2 miles or so which has better service and their gas pumps rarely fail”.

The pre made burgers were very dry and the meat didn’t taste well at all . My son ordered the cheese fries and the cheese and bacon were burnt . The quality of food is not what it used to be . We have been customers since it opened but we will not be going back ! !

Once 7-11 bought this location, it became a giant waste of space. The property isn’t kept up well with weeds and trash outside, they have a generic chicken place inside for food vs their old family friendly eclectic menu. The newish enclosed patio is already in need of a deep clean and re-paint at a minimum. No need to go there anymore.

I stopped in and got two 5 GA. Jugs of unleaded gas. One for my lawn mower and one for spare gas for my truck. Bith stalked put. Because I found out that all of that gas was 3/4 water. I have now got. 1400 bill to get my truck fixed. I have called them several times and have yet to have my calls returned.

The employees are very friendly and the store is clean. The food is delicious, especially the bacon cheese fries (returned twice for these). The pizza was alright. The breakfasts look pretty good. This would be a great place to watch a sports game.

Best little joint in town. Great food. Love the barbeque. As for their 1 star review from Jen Noel or who ever she is. Look at their other reviews… Apparently she has an issue with every business in/on Broad Street Rd Area. This isn’t Facebook or the Gossip corner. She didn’t review the store, she reviewed a manager. If he was talking about her, well i see why. The 2 star review is referring to a bar and grill in Norfolk Va. Not this country store 5 Star service at this location

Great barbecue and the best onion rings, along with many beer choices on draft. You can also buy beer/wine retail in the store and then take it into the dining area to enjoy it with your food. Items in this store tend to be a bit pricey, like most convenience stores. The laid-back atmosphere is nice and Thursday-Saturday nights tend to have live music. Highly recommend giving it a try.
