Awful I went to the A&W in Lubbock connected to a Long John’s silver excited to see a restaurant here, but get told by the drive thru girl their only serving long John products no reason why I can’t get AW food. I find it very upsetting theirs a menu and signs that confirm A&W food sold there but get denied to buy it. I’m not going to take the word of the employee cus some of them lie to not do their jobs. How you going to have signs that your an A&W food restaurant and not want to sell the products? I’ve contacted A&W corporate to inform them about the incident.

I have had A&W food from this location in the past, and I went there today to get some again. I was told they “aren’t doing A&W anymore”. They have up the A&W menu boards in the drive-thru, but it seems they have decided to go with Long John Silver’s alone. I like Long John Silver’s, but I can get that from elsewhere (and with faster and better service). A&W Corporate needs to come in and rip out any sort of A&W identification from this place. Please open a stand alone A&W elsewhere in Lubbock. And I hope this location burns to the ground, because that is all it is really useful for at this point.

The grill was not operational during my visit, so the A&W items were not available. Not a big deal, but there were no notifications to inform customers of the inconvenience.

Was told in the drive through there would be a 15-20 minute wait for food because of “shift change” lol. You have 4 employees. I have NEVER heard of a chain restaurant basically closing in the middle of the day for a shift change…. that’s okay, just went across the street to KFC.

Horrible service…drive thru intercom not working… employees have no sense of urgency and seem to enjoy telling you all of the items that are not available. The wait was over 40 minutes with only 3 cars in front of us. Someone should burn the place down and build an In ‘n out restaurant with properly trained employees.

We’ve gone every couple days for the last 2 weeks and their ice cream machine is always down. Everyday someone is coming the next to fix it but it’s never fixed. Last time we went the machine was down so no ice cream and they were out of chicken. I miss a and w floats but we’ve given up trying.
