I had only a few minutes for a quick bite to eat and found this place. I am glad I stopped; it was worth it. The menu had so many choices, but easy to place my order. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable about food choices. The prices were about average. The food…lets get to it. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries. OMG!!! It was good. Great portion. Great flavor. Definitely belly buster. Everything was freshly made. No regrets here. I will be making this my Thursday usual. 5 Star visit

I’ve gone here a couple of times. The food is made fresh which is nice. It tastes like it should, it’s hot and tasty and I really don’t know what else to say about this place. People seem nice. Nice enough service is fine. It’s a stop between trips for us. Betterling going to a McDonald’s Wendy’s or otherwise. And I don’t really mean the a&w part of this. I I have not tried anything from the a&w side so I have no idea. When I was a kid I used to go to an a&w drive-thru with my grandfather. I have fond memories of that but this isn’t the same.

The one we went to near Matteson, Il is awful. Horrible wait, no extra crunches we paid for. We bought 3 2 plank chicken meals and waited almost 30 minutes outside for our food. The environment is not well lit, and seems on the dangerous side.

Ok so me and my coworker pulled up at 8:45pm no one answered the intercom so we pull up to the window a young lady came up to the window and we asked”are you open? ” she said yeah sorry I was in the back cleaning so we reverse to the intercom, my coworker ordered a value meal and she didn’t know what he was ordering smh so she finally understands what he’s trying to order. I ordered a double cheeseburger and asked for no onions no tomatoes extra pickles. We pay she says it’s going to be about 8 min because we are making it fresh so we pull around. 20 min later we go back to the drive thru window and get waived off by another worker counting down the drawer saying they were closed (website says close at 10pm its now 9:05) I said hey we already ordered and paid, he said yeah your order is being made so we drive back around to wait another 5 min before finally getting our food. Fries were cold hushpuppies were cold, they put onions and tomatoes on my burger. At this point I’m hungry so I ate but I’ll never in my life go to that location again. Ridiculous!!!

Root beer float was served in a paper cup. SMH. Ice cream was not creamy. The North Aurora location does it the right way. They serve the floats in glass mugs. I’ll never come here again. Floors were also unclean and sticky.

Ordered a double cheese burger and the bun was larger than that meat.. and made my stomach highly upset. The washroom (mens) had an immediate disgusting ordered upon entry. The floor was extremely slippery and hazardous. Ever again, period.

Cheese on burger was ice cold, fries were disgusting, root beer had too much ice in it. I’m a big fan of A&W, but avoid this location at all costs.

I haven’t had A&W in years and was in the area and wanted a quick burger. I knew it was a bad idea from the moment the guy came over the speaker. As he was taking my order the car in front of me had approached the window and he said something I didn’t hear so I stopped placing my order and said “what was that” his exact reply was “I wasn’t talking to you”. So after this occurred and against my better judgement to just drive away I had to repeat my entire order again. I seriously think he was incapable of multitasking and serving the window and taking the order at the same time. He had to handle one car at a time which probably works most of the time because I wouldn’t imagine it’s ever busy because it is terrible. So I ordered a cheeseburger meal and drove to the window. He wasn’t as rude at this point so I paid and got my food and left. Now on to how terrible the food was. I can not express how bad that cheeseburger was. I took 3 bites and threw it out. It tasted like a terrible frozen patty masked by a bunch of cheese. The fries were mostly cold and bad. The only thing that was worth the money was the Pepsi I got and the root beer float my girlfriend ordered. I wouldn’t go back here and honestly can’t imagine anyone eating that food and returning to buy more.
