Recipe for a Better Me LLC
The buffalo wings were OLD, literally black on the inside and covered in buffalo sauce. Nearly $10 for SIX OLD little wings. The pizza was luke warm and the delivery guy was acting like we were gonna rob him, didn’t wanna deliver the pizza to my husband who was standing outside waiting in the cold. He was backing up the street and circling the block. The things we go through for mediocre food in this neighborhood. I rate it a D at best.

Order a pizza weight was only 15 minutes, and the pizza was pretty good. Friendly environment, good customer service. If you’re ever in South Chicago I recommend you try it.

The fried chicken here is the best, owner is very friendly and accommodating. We drive 40 minuets from Indiana for our chicken, when we get home it’s still fresh and crispy not greasy like others places. We only eat chicken from here.

I’m a Uber driver and I pick up for a customer. Over to their house the pizza smelled so fresh and delicious so I said I would give it a try and I did. It was sooooo delicious and fresh I’m going back today. This will be my pizza place till they do me wrong, hopefully never. I’ll recommend this pizza to everyone!! Do give it a try and the service is exceptional.

Inexpensive but they don’t skimp. The food always arrives hot and fresh. They have more than Pizza and all of it is good. DO NOT USE THE DOOR DASH AP. YOU CAN’T ORDER EXTRA OF ANY TOPPING, YOU CAN’T GET A REFUND EVEN IF THEY GET IT WRONG. THEY WILL GET IT WRONG.

Had Avy’s for the first time and was not disappointed. I have tried lots of pizza places in the area and out of the 10 or so places that deliver to Whiting I would have to say Avy’s is the best. My wife had the wings and she loved them. FINALLY after searching for over a year we have found a place that has both great pizza and great wings. I would say the only way they could improve would be if they made their own ranch, but hey 9 outta 10 is still pretty great.
