This restaurant has been here for decades, and it’s not a secret why – both the food and the service is impeccable and way above average. I had the salmon which was served on a bed of lentils with carrots and celery. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a juicy crispness not often found w salmon, which can b dry if not cooked properly. Our whole table was very happy with their meals, and we’ve already made planes to return very soon! This place is amazing!

The staff at Avino’s- Meredith and Gabby helped me plan a bridal shower from Florida for my daughter. We held the event this Saturday, June 11 and I am sooo happy I chose this restaurant. Our waitress Jenna was so sweet and helped make the shower a huge success. The food was delicious, the outside tent which we decorated was perfect and the champagne table and special occasion cake added an extra nice touch. Doesn’t get better than this. Too notch, quaint, classy place. Went here and made plans for my 25th Anniversary. They had cold Champagne ready at a real nice table. Service was great, very attentive and courteous. Antipasto was fresh and sliced to order, baked clams were delicious, hate to sound cheesy but they were the best I’ve had. Wife got a chicken scallopini, i got a stellar steak and shrimp scampi-surf and Turf, after dinner drinks, wife got a Tirimisu martini, I had a 15 yr scotch, finished with a Tirimisu for dessert. Cant wait to go back. Food was , hot, fresh and cooked perfectly.

Okay, here’s the deal. I showed up on a Wednesday night at like, 7:30(?) and McKenzie was just absolutely, hands down, one of the best Hostesses I’ve encountered on this Island so far. It takes a LOT to be a gracious, competent and friendly host and if I’m Avino’s I’d do anything in my power to keep her!

Sat outside in the tented patio. They put the heater on for those that were chilly. Friendly waitress and staff and that’s everytime. Had Uncle Leo’s, always delicious. The Butternut Squash soup was also very good.

Very disappointed in their catering. The chicken bruschetta was weird and a small portion. The bruschetta came with celery, black olives and no balsamic vinegar or onion- ,just weird and nothing like you would expect chicken bruschetta to taste. What’s worse we get a small portion of sliced chicken. We had to order more food last minutes from another place to compensate for the small portion of chicken we got. The penna al vodka was also weird. It came with very little sauce and it had mushrooms inside but no pancetta. The rice-balls and meatball sliders were okay. Overall, I don’t recommend this place for your off premise catering.

One of the best dining experiences. We had baked clams, chicken veggie soup & Uncle Leo’s chicken dish. Big portions. Delicious food. Excellent service. This is a converted house. We sat in the back at a table for two. Very romantic. Noise level was very low.
