Ordered 2 small Jerk chickens all with different sides, which were the mac and cheese, cabbage, rice with beans, and cornbread. The Jerk chicken was dry but tasted okay, mac and cheese was not good at all, cheese in there tasted spoiled, similar to cottage cheese which was upsetting, the Yams weren’t even sweet, more like sprinkled the top of the pan with brown sugar and not even stirred, felt like I was eating a baked sweet potato. Cabbage was bland as can be, the rice was actually very good, and the cornbread was dreadful, almost like they use cake batter instead of Jiffy and canned corn instead. Service was excellent and the price was okay, but the quality of food just wasn’t there. Better off going to Lady Nay’s or Jerk Shack in my opinion.

Food was excellent, rice and peas, curry goat was soft and tender. Authentic cuisine. I enjoy multiple items on the menu.

We stopped by to dine in and the food was incredible. We tried the jerk chicken and the oxtail and both were perfectly cooked with the right amount of seasoning. The beans+rice and cabbage were also spot on. The final standout to me was the hot sauce that they make in house. It’s an awesome blend of super spicy peppers and I couldn’t get enough of the stuff. Highly recommend stopping by! The seating inside is minimal (only two tables as of this review) but it’s absolutely worth taking to go as well.

Ava moved into the building next to where the truck was 2 weeks ago and it was a great experience. Very traditional style menu, simple and executed beautifully. Will definitely be returning and a must stop if you’re in the area. I had the BBQ chicken jerk plate, medium bone in with hot sauce on the side.

Very friendly people. I didn’t get the beans and flavored rice or cabbage like I wanted but I was the last one to order lol. So I got the Rasta pasta instead and plain rice with jerk chicken. The price was very reasonable as well. The pasta is really good. Jerk chicken was fire. Looking forward to getting some more chicken and cabbage next time. This will be my new go to spot for jerk chicken for me!!

The food was decent not too salty which is very important to me! I ordered the Curry Goat, rice & beans, cabbage & plantains. I would have given 5 stars, but when I tasted the plantains, they didn’t taste freshly made & old oil was used to cook them in & it does make a difference! I’m from New York & I miss the various ethnic foods so I thought I would try this Jamaican restaurant but I won’t go back again. Service was very good, you could sit if you want to, small area to eat.

It’s a food truck accessed via the alley. I think the owner does everything and lots of love in this food! Delivery via doordash or ample parking. Support this unique restaurant! The woman running it works hard and always smiles, the food is popular and delicious! Just go.
